@DDubs - Hey friend, when you ran that dry ice hash, how much did you grind up your buds? Just a little or ?
If you grind up
dried bud, limit your shaking time and vigor.
If you shake into/onto something that you can see the hash, stop at the first sign of color. You can shake further if you want into/onto another 'thing'.
That first shake can easily made into temple balls or 'hash snakes'.................or as my friend called my 30g 'hash snake'....a dog turd.
LOL! He didn't want a temple ball, so I just rolled it out so he could cut it with a razor blade.
"Hash Snake" is my name for it.
On fresh froze in bubble bowls, I shake for 2min on the first run, then shake on to smooth bottom hard plastic black trays I found at Wally World until I see color.
What I collect in the bowls is what I use to make temple balls.
The lower quality can be pressed with different kinds of molds or hand screw type press into 'coins'
I usually squish my lower quality hash in 37 micron bags for rosin.
I only make fairly large fresh froze dry ice hash runs. At least 2 or 3 one gal freezer bags. That's 3 or 4 bowl fills.
There's still quite a bit of 'goodness' left in the worked material. I dry on a big aluminum tray under a fan, decarb in my ArdentFX and then infuse in the FX. I use a cheap french press to get the oil. I decarb another bit and take the oil from the first press and use it on the next infusion until all the material is done. I feed my worms the left materials. I try to fully utilize my canna.
