I'm a Indy fan, so I'm with you on the Sati thing.
Which is not to say I don't enjoy Sativas, I just prefer Indicas.

Stems should snap, not bend.
Use a hygrometer in you jar to monitor humidity!

Small hygrometers fit in jars nicely.
Cheap as chips direct from Asia but still cheap enough domestically.

Boveeda 62% two way humidity control packs are use by many folks, to keep the weed at a stable 62% humidity, whilst curing.
Some use Boveed 58% to reduce the humidity a little lower prior to smoking it, after curing!

Yup good info I do the same plus I use a wood moisture meter to test moist of buds. Then Jar when they are around 11-15%

Get u 1 of these if u wanna know for sure! U can get em for around $40 at Home Depot or off amazon!

The meter was actually around 10.9-11.1 but when I let go with 1 hand to pick up phone the prongs would come out a bit and give lower reading! Between 10-12% on meter tho and it’s ready to trim and jar up! I’m bout to grab the trimbin so I can pull these colas now! Still need to pull 1 from other plant to break down and look for rot as @Mañ'O'Green suggested but if it does nothing will change that now so haven’t rushed as I’m nervous as to what I may find!
