Grow Mediums Barney’s Farm LSD-25 (photo) in 8.5L Autopots w/coco, TF nutrients, and AutoCobs

Not another update, but some bud porn.

They still have a couple weeks to go but here are some pretty buds. I always find it difficult to get a good shot of buds, one that truly shows just how thick and hard they are. And smell-a-vision, when the heck are we going to get smell-a-vision. So give me a 3D camera with smell-a-vision and I will be happy. But until then, these will have to do.

These first three are from Bobbie’s main cola. This little girl almost got scrapped early on but was spared the juicer and allowed to grow in a one gallon fabric pot in the autopot tray. And the pictures do not do the buds justice. I do not squeeze buds but by moving them around I can tell these are going to be rock hard.

Two of my other ladies that were topped and do not have a main cola.

Day 100 / 69 / 56

Quick update at day 100. The girls are still packing it on and the trichs are mostly cloudy with just the first hints of amber. I cut the MC back to 2g a gallon, upped Terpinator to 30ml per gallon, defoliated all the girls big fan leaves, and drilled two 1/8 holes in the main stem of two of the girls to see if the added stress might cause more resin production. Looks like they will be finishing up in the next two weeks probably very close to the breeders flower time of 65 days.

looks like you used your experience to make the save Hemi. Looking good now bro.

I went away to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago for 4 nights. I flushed the lines and reloaded the res with 5 gallons and thought all would be good for my friend to tend it. First event was I forgot to turn on the res valve after flushing before I left. Thankfully I showed him how to pickup pots for weight and he noticed right away. Then on the last night he said the res was low so he made up a batch of MC/CMP/BE using the chart I put on the wall. He didn't even tell me what he did or ask if he should even do it. I was pretty laid back in my instructions so there is that. But man you'd think he would talk to me first. Anyway long story short the PH was way to high so I had him dump the res and vacuum the trays and I got things back on track the next day. I think they took a bit of a stress hit from that to be honest. Bud development is slow since then. Plus I lollipopped when I got back which was prob not a good idea given the slight stress from before.

Man, these plants are sensitive girls!

Next time I go away for a few days, I'll have to be more anal retentive about things.

Thanks for the kind words folks. After this grow I’m starting to realize what loss of control you have with autoflowers, you gain in a faster turn around over photos. This grow is going to top out at 110 days, which will be one of my longest grows.

I did the same the other day. Filled the reservoir and totally zoned out forgetting to turn the valve back on. Luckily I measure the depth in my reservoir daily and after 24 hours it was pretty obvious. In addition, at this stage they can empty their trays in a day.

Yours will bounce back quickly in sure. I wish I had someone that I could trust to look after my grows but between living in a non-legal state and the few stoner friends I know I would not put anywhere near my grow. Hence why I went to autopots for my long absences. I’m switching to a soil/coco combination next time to help buffer the pH issues.

Thanks. Not sure about a lot of it but there will be some quality smoke. I’m guessing only 4-6 ounces but could be wrong. The buds just are not tightening up on two of the girls, probably due to my experimentations earlier in the grow. I’m just lucky I stopped playing around before I killed them.

I've been thinking of the same thing. I have some very nice photo seeds, I thought of trying my hand at SOG with a short veg just to use the seeds up but I really want to focus on autos.
