Got the bigger tent today, new 4" fan for the dry tent and the jewelers loupe.
Really liking all the space. The only issue I am having is the buds have like a musty smell to them, I read that can be normal for some strains though and the one that has been flowering longest is putting out some more regular bud type smells now. No sign of mold anywhere on the plants they look healthy.
@archie gemmill Did your Sour Livers smell like that? Btw do you have a grow journal?
if it has a long neck break it,keeps the canopy more even ish if you can avoid knocking shelves out.
new tent more elbow room
you have a couple of 6" table or oscillating fans in the tent ? should be fine aslong as temps/RH arnt crazy.
i have a few threads scattered about the place...scratches head hmm erm lemysee it just so happens https://www.autoflower.org/threads/archie-grows-a-sour-livers.64117/
Thanks @archie gemmill ! I need to get some fans in there to move air around for sure it's one thing I forgot about.
So was your Sour Livers musty smelling at first? I don't see mold anywhere but the bottom tray and pots were a little musty I figure was normal for the pot sitting on it. I sprayed the bags and tent tray with vinegar mixed with water and it got the smell out but the flowers worry me hopefully it is normal.
Thanks @archie gemmill would you say the buds smelled musty with that strain or was it a diff smell? Hopefully am worrying for nothing. I will get some of those fans. The one that has been flowering longest has smelled musty almost sense the start of flower but no mold on leaves buds stems anywhere seems like would have shown up by now if it was mold has been a few weeks.
i havnt got a very good nose.it just stunk all kinds of smells.as far as i know budrot/mold/pm etc has no smell.if the pots beendamp and not drying out much,or sitting in runoff thats stale/not getting sucked back up,can have a bit of a damp dog smell.
