I have been thinking the same thing debating the past 2 days, how many leaves should I take at once and do they have to be lower ones?

I would be conservative for the first time. If the fans are blocking a bud site from the light, and can't be tucked without blocking, I would clip.

There all doing well after taking some leaves blocking buds off last night.

Forgot to add I had to put stuff underneath two of them to raise them to the height of the back left one so there not all that big.

It's a jungle in there! Just watered and gave the smallest a quarter dose of FloraBloom.

Lots of Trichomes showing up on bud leaves on the smallest plant that has been flowering the longest.
