Indoor Teetee's 2021 Monster Hunt

Days 85 to 91 - The Chop
  • OK it's been a busy couple of weeks trying to crop on the stealth.

Lots of nosey neighbours and a few cops sprinkled around for good measure hasn't made this an easy grow. Luckily we had high winds and heavy rainfall all weekend so I was able to crop without the worry of anyone getting a sniff.
These are really smelly strains, and there was a couple of times I made the house stink while I moved bushel's of bud around in the dead of night.

I gave my girls a 2-3 day flush using Advanced Nutrients 'Flawless Finish', then a day of no feed to dry out a little before the chop. This way I get NO mould.

Because I was in a hurry, I didn't take many shots, but here we go....

First on the 26th June (day 85) I chopped the Orange Bud. She was really smelly, and I managed to fill 3 boxes with her long stems. All very sticky and nice hard buds.
    OB1.JPG

I took her down in one night (Sunday), then waited for the following weekend to do the other two.

On Friday (1st July - day 90), I got on with the Lemon Kix.
Here's a random selection of bud....
    LK2.JPG

    Again, very gooey gear....
    LK1.JPG

I got all the long stems in one box, and hung the rest...
    LK4.JPG

Finally on Saturday and Sunday, I got on with the enormous Banana Blaze....
    BB3.JPG

Once again, loads of greasy buddage.....
    BB5.JPG

I hung her on 4 sock hangers, and the LK and BB went back in the tent to dry....
    CROP4.JPG

There's a lot of bud there, I can't wait to have it all dried so I can weigh it all.
I managed to save scissor hash from all 3, the orange bud was lovely, and I will have a vape of the other two sometime today... I called in sick today cos I'm shattered from all the cropping, and I deserve a day of getting caned well earned rest.

I'm tempted to start another grow because the weather is so good (it's winter here so the temps are 15-20°C), but I will have to wait a bit cos I'm sure there's an inspection due soon. Temps rise again in October, so I hope the rental people pull their fingers out so I can take advantage of these cooler temps!

Thanks for checking out this grow, I'll post up the weights in a couple of weeks.

    Dried bud weights
  • Here we go then, the grow is complete, the buds are dried and jarred with Boveda Packs, so here's the final shots and weights.

Because I stripped away any stringy shit during the grow, it was pretty much all solid bud.
I only kept grade A for weighing and jarring for 4 weeks cure, anything not passing quality control was saved to make coconut oil with at some stage.

Starting with Orange Bud. Here's the complete haul after 2 weeks of hanging on stems....
    Orange Bud.JPG

That's 9.4oz or 265.5g ready to jar up!

Here's a couple of shots after 2 weeks in jars....
    OB 1.JPG

They're not wrong about it being 'Orange' bud...
    OB 2.JPG

    Next Lemon Kix after drying....
    Lemon Kix.JPG

Another nice load of bud... 8.6oz or 244.5g.

Here's some after 2 weeks with Bovedas...
    LK 1.JPG

    Nice hard buds...
    LK 2.JPG

Finally the Banana Blaze. A very pleasing 12.7oz or 360g....
    Banana Blaze.JPG

Here's a few nugs after 2 weeks of curing....
    BB 1.JPG

Plenty of solid bud for a few months!
    BB 2.JPG

In total, that's 30.7 ounces or 870 grams of product, which fits neatly into a load of jars....
    The final product.JPG

It's nice looking at all the labels and remembering the grows of old. Those jars have really seen some action over the years.... that was my 25th grow, pretty much non stop for about 8 years! Where did it all go???

I won't be having any of this while they cure for another couple of weeks... but I'm really hanging out to try some! Lucky I still have some Night Queen and Blackberry Kush from the previous grow, so I can wait.

Good news, there's an inspection in a couple of weeks time, so I'm gonna take the tent down, and give the garage a bit of a tidy up... wouldn't get done anywhere near as often if we didn't have these nosy bastards over every 3 months.

I'll plant some seeds in Solo cups 3-4 days before she is due so that I can have some fresh seedlings ready to tent up as soon as she fucks off!

I'm not sure what I'm gonna grow, but I think I'll certainly be growing one or two of these again!

Thanks for having a look at this grow, this has been stressful with all the law enforcement all over the shop, but I'm really happy I got a decent haul in these 'winter' months with temps in the 20-25°C (range rather than the 35-40°C plus we'll have between October and March).
Crazy to see how things collapse in Blighty after 2 days of heat, while we have it for months and months year after year. Can you imagine what it would be like to do a 3 month grow in that sort of heat? That's why I wanna get cracking again before it cranks up!
    Happy growing!

    Grow 5 - Teetee's tasty trio - Day 1
  • BIG thanks to @Taipan @WildBill and @DCLXVI for the rep points.... slowly building up again after AFN reset the counter :fire: I had thousands before GRRRR!
bet ya the missiz has some of it into a generous doob before you get it anywhere near your mighty
I've had them curing for a full 4 weeks now so I've been chugging away on the Mighty like my life depended on it, but also having a good few after dark joints of each.... all in the name of research... ahem. Cough.
The flavours are lovely, each one does what they say on the tin, lemon, orange and banana (although I think the banana needs a bit more time for the flavours to really develop).
Gotta say, I like the Lemon most of all, it's fucking strong stuff, and tastes amazing, but they all hit the spot, so I'm very happy.

And I suspect if you weren't so picky about what is "good enough" you'd be well over that kilo mark. Stay safe, stay hidden. Pass that inspection with flying colors. Definitely looking forward to your next run, after a deserved break of course.
I only saved about an ounce and a half (dried) of material for making the Coconut Oil.... packed with trichomes!
The inspecton went well.... she only stayed for 5 minutes and pissed off.
I did plan to have some seedlings ready to put up into a newly erected tent, but just didn't have the time to do it when I wanted (4 days before the inspection).
Instead, I did it after she left, so while they germinated, I had time to put the tent back up over the weekend.

This next grow will get tricky towards the end, it's winter at the moment (25°C day, 12°C night), but it will start hotting up around October. I'm thinking I want some of my tastier strains that will give a big harvest.
I don't want to be growing from December to March as it's too damn hot then. I would have grown another Lemon Kix, but I only have 2 seeds left, and I'd rather wait till April/May to make the most of the winter temps again.

I decided on one of each, Dutch Passion's 'Orange Bud' and 'Glueberry OG' plus a Dinafem 'Blue Amnesia XXL'.

    Teetee's Tasty Trio

Here we are then, yesterday the Orange then the Blue Amnesia popped, and the Glueberry arrived sometime last night....
    Day 1 group.JPG

I hope you can join me on my continued quest for monster hauls... I've grown some massive Blue Amnesias (18oz) and the Glueberry OG Gods have also been good to me (14.7oz).

See you in a week or so. :toke:

    Day 14 - The repot
  • It's been a nice few weeks not growing.... plenty of time to kick back and enjoy the fruits of the last harvest.

Today, that's all changed.... I have had three seedlings in plastic Solo cups, niced and easy, just syringing in 300ml every 3 days or so.
It's day 14 so time to repot them into 25L airpots. For once I was well prepared and had the Coco delivered a few weeks ago.

    Here they are just before...
    Day 14 group 1.JPG

Clockwise from top: Glueberry OG, Orange Bud, Blue Amnesia XXL.

    Here they are after repotting:
    Day 14 group 2.JPG

Clockwise from top left: Blue Amnesia XXL, Orange Bud, Glueberry OG

As well as the repotting, I rigged up 2 more Skyline 400s as they were all sharing one unit, now they have one each.
I'll be watering them every 2 days for a week or so, and take it from there.

Thanks for popping in, see you soon!

    Day 26 - vegging nicely
  • Welcome back,

It's been 12 days since they were repotted, here's a reminder of how they were...
    Day 14 group 2.JPG

They've taken to the 25L airpots very nicely and have bulked out a bit...
    day 26 Group.JPG

clockwise from top left: Blue Amnesia XXL, Orange Bud and Glueberry OG

The Glueberry in front is looking very healthy....
    day 26 GB.JPG

I think there was a bit of Nitrogen toxicity in the 2nd week as her tips were beginning to twist up and I was seeing those brown spots. If you look carefully at the pic above, you'll see the lowest leaf on the bottom is dark green with twisted edges and has that brown spotting. All growth since the repot (when I lowered the added Nitrogen) is much better. I am about to increase the Cal Mag tonight, as the top leaves are just showing early signs.

The Orange Bud is a big girl...
    day 26 OB.JPG

and the Blue Amnesia is looking great too...
    day 26 BA.JPG

I cut off the 2 largest fan upper fan leaves at the top of the main stem, from each of them on day 22 to let the underlying side branches get some light, and I did it again yesterday.
I'll probably do it again a few more times over the next week or two, and that will give all those side branches plenty of light to stretch out and give me a load of donkey dicks (hopefully).

Once all the side branches have developed a bit more, I'll put some stakes in and hope the tent fills up with big long candy canes!

I'm feeding them 6-7L of an EC 0.8 pH 5.8 mix every 2 days, but will probably start doing daily feeds in the next week as they are going through a rapid growth phase.

Thanks for taking a look, more soon!

Day 34 - all staked out ready for the stretch
  • Hey again, it's day 34 and they are taking shape...
    day 34 group.JPG

clockwise from top left: Blue Amnesia XXL, Glueberry OG and Orange Bud in front.

They've been vegging nicely so far, pretty much undisturbed for the first 28 days, just removing a couple of fan leaves near the top to let light in.
That's done the trick as the side branches have grown enough to get some stakes in and spread them out.

The Orange Bud is looking like she will be the largest, so she has the front half of the tent to herself. I used the stakes to help pull some of the branches out to the sides so that she can fit the full width of the tent...
    day 34 OB 1.JPG

Here she is from the front so you can see how I've tried to expose as many tops as possible...
    day 34 OB 2.JPG

The Glueberry OG and Blue Amnesia XXL have to share the back half of the tent, and so to make use of the space, some stakes came in handy here as well. These two just needed to be opened up to fill out the corners of their spaces.

    Here's Glueberry OG from overhead....
    day 34 GB 1.JPG

and here she is from the front...
    day 34 GB 2.JPG

Finally Blue Amnesia XXL from above...
    day 34 BA 1.JPG

    and from the front...
    day 34 BA 2.JPG

I'm seeing early flowers on all of them, so everything's going to plan, so far.
I've just increased the feed strength a little, but I'm keeping an eye on the run off EC. I have a feeling they have slightly different requirements, so I may have to start mixing up 2 different feeds to avoid over feeding one (the Blue Amnesia) and under feeding the others.
Such a pain in the arse doing that, I'm such a lazy stoner!

Anyway, they are ready for the stretch, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop.
Thanks for looking in, see you soon!

Day 44 - Things are about to go Teetee
  • Hey and welcome back down here. Here's the tent on day 44....
    Day 45 Group 1.JPG

The massive Orange Bud is there in front, with Blue Amnesia back left, and the shorter Glueberry OG back right

Very crowded for day 44 so I'm happy.

For some reason we had a day of mourning 4 days after the event, a Thursday public holiday, with Fridays off, means a nice long weekend! I spent the afternoon attending to my plants to get the most out of the impending bloom phase.

I thought I should take the Orange Bud out....
    Day 45 BB 1.JPG

....to get a shot of her on her own....
    Day 45 BB 2.JPG

....and also to get a better look at the other two....
    Day 45 BA & GB 1.JPG

There... you can see the Blue Amnesia is also huge, maybe potentially bigger than the Orange Bud, and I had only given her a quarter of the tent to grow in while the Orange had the whole front half.

I decided to adjust their positions and tweak a few of the stakes and stems so that the Blue Amnesia and the Orange Bud have enough room to BOTH become monsters.

    Here's the desired floor plan...
    floorplan.png

I pulled branches at the back of the Orange Bud more out to the sides to make her thinner but wider still, especially on the left side.

Here's a view of the back of Orange Bud, showing how those stems at the bottom really go out to the sides now....
    Day 45 BB 3.JPG

The Blue Amnesia is a real bush, with three tall colas which are only about 4cm shorter than the Orange Bud, and a load of long side stems, all stretching up...
    Day 45 BA 1.JPG

a closer view shows how much there is going on in there...
    Day 45 BA 2.JPG

I reckon a tent to herself, properly staked out, and she'll give 18 plus ounces.... it's been done before a couple of times :eyebrows:

The Glueberry OG is plodding along, doing reasonably well but nothing amazing....
    Day 45 GB 1.JPG

I never got round to mixing a separate lower strength nute for her, and it shows.

With the Orange Bud out of the tent, I gave them all a good thinning out, removing any stems that hadn't made it through to any direct light.

In the end I chopped out quite a bit...
    Day 45 offcuts.JPG

After re-jigging the Blue Amnesia, here's how the back of the tent looks now. Notice how I have pulled over one of the 3 tallest stems all the way out to the left and into the front half of the tent, and tied it with a bit of paracord.....
    Day 45 BA & GB 2.JPG

This shot shows how much I have thinned them out inside, and some extreme staking in the bottom left....
    Day 45 BA & GB 3.JPG

After I put the Orange Bud back in, you can see how the space is being used up training the Blue Amnesia and Orange Bud into the front left corner....
    Day 45 Group 2.JPG

Here's the final shot for today then. You can see how the two tall colas on the Blue Amnesia are almost as tall as the Orange Bud, and that all three are all set to fill out with loads of juicy buds!
    Day 45 Group 3.JPG

They are drinking around 8 Litres each a day, single feeds, so I might try for 2 feeds a day for the rest of the grow.

I'll start the PK13/14 in around a week, but for now, I'm just gonna enjoy the early stages of flowering and seeing all those bud sites develop!

Thanks for coming over to have a look, have a great weekend!

    Day 60 - PK time
  • Well it's been just over 2 weeks since my last update, so just scroll back to the last picture to remind yourself how things were.

.... and here they are as of yesterday, day 60....
    Day 60 Group 1.JPG

Orange Bud in front with some nice chunky colas, Blue Amnesia XXL looking very XXXL there at the back on the left, and the Glueberry OG squeezed into the back right.

From a more elevated angle you can see the tent is chock a block full....
    Day 60 Group 2.JPG

The Orange Bud has just finished a week on PK13/14 which is why she's looking more advanced than the other two.
Here she is from the front....
    Day 60 OB 1.JPG

To make her fit in the tent, I had to move branches from the front and back, out to the sides, so she's wide from the front (as above), but narrow from the side....,.
    Day 60 OB 2.JPG

Her main cola is solid bud....
    Day 60 OB 4.JPG

.... and the rest of the buds are packing the weight on too.

This is her main cola on the left, and her right side buds in the bottom half of the pic, and you can see the main cola of the Glueberry on the very right for comparison.....
    Day 60 OB 5.JPG

She's got another 3 weeks left on her I reckon.

Next the Glueberry, poor thing stuck at the back.
    Day 60 GB 3.JPG

GBOG's usually get quite big for me, but in this case the Orange Bud got big then the Blue Amnesia took off, but that left little room for the GBOG, and once she eventually got going, there was nowhere for her to grow.

She's doing her best given the circumstances, and there's actually a fair bit of bud on her....
    Day 60 GB 1.JPG

You can see a bit of heat stress on her, again cos she's so crammed in, and she was very bushy inside, loads of stems that would have made her a monster, all trapped in the foliage.

I decided to do a bit of clearing out to increase the airflow, and to get rid of any stringy bud, and here's the end result....
    Day 60 BA & GB 1.JPG

A bit of upskirt action for you....
    Day 60 BA & GB 2.JPG

That Blue Amnesia is something else ain't it?
    Day 60 BA 1.JPG

Loads of nice long colas, all filling up with bud. She could have the tent to herself - last time I did that and she produced 18 plus ounces! I don't think this one will get as big a haul, maybe 12 to 15 if I'm lucky!

    Lights off....
    Day 60 BA 3.JPG

    Main cola....
    Day 60 BA 4.JPG

Plenty of bud round the sides....
    Day 60 BA 5.JPG

The Blue Amnesia is a beautiful plant, every one I've grown has been spot on.... does Dinafem even exist anymore???

I think I'll up the Cal Mag this evening on them all, I usually would have done that by now, but I'm a bit strapped for cash and the Cal Mag I have is getting low, so I have been having to compromise a little till pay day.

Blue Amnesia and Glueberry OG are both on the PK 13/14 for a week, the BA has done 3 days, the GBOG just 2.

Once that's done, they'll both be another 3-4 weeks till they're ready to harvest.... HOW BIG IS THAT BLUE AMNESIA GONNA GET???

Day 68 - Big Buds on the way!
  • Thanks @Sawney_bean for your nice words Bro, and thanks also to @Taipan and @WildBill for the rep points.... @WildBill I reload my pics just for you so you can get the full Teetee experience! (normally I just write it up on UK420 and copy/paste the lot in one go with no AFN uploading, but hey....)
Ah another fantastic teetee tent! Killing it again I see.
Cheers DC, every time, it amazes me how they just take off like that, despite my best efforts to kill them off.
    winner takes all as usual?
Hope, This is why I grow an extra plant.... I keep losing my bets to you.
How about we link it to this weeks match, if you get more than 6 past us, all bets are off? Mo's been sharpening up thse last few games, so I can see a load going in against us on Weds. If by some fluke the Hammers come out on top (have you stopped laughing yet?) then I'll be taking your haul.

Day 68 - by now Hope would have cut them down, cured them and smoked half, and be well into another Sawney Scrog... but us mere mortals have to do the full stretch with no parole.

Not long to go now for all of them though as the PK13/14 is over, and that means just 3-4 weeks left. I'm looking forward to NOT growing for at least 3 months to avoid the blistering Summer heat, and to avoid stinking the street out while everyone's got their windows open day and night.... don't forget it seems that half the local Pigs live on my street, and for some bizarre reason they like to sit in their front garden all evening to stare at our house while stuffing their fat faces.

Here they are as a group, lights on...
    Day 68 Group 1.JPG

Orange Bud at the front, Blue Anmesia back left and Glueberry OG back right.

    .... and lights off.....
    Day 68 Group 2.JPG

The Orange Bud has been off the PK for a week already, so she just has 2-3 weeks left on her, those buds are FAT!!!
    Day 68 OB 1.JPG

    Here's the main cola....
    Day 68 OB 2.JPG

.... and in case you were wondering just HOW big.....
    Day 68 OB 3.JPG

If I take the Orange Bud out, you can see the Blue Amnesia (left) and Glueberry (right) a bit better....
    Day 68 BA & GB.JPG

The Blue Amnesia is loaded with thick long buds....
    Day 68 BA 1.JPG

... and to help you gauge the actual size....
    Day 68 BA 2.JPG

She smells bloody yummy!! God knows what she's gonna be like in another 3-4 weeks!

    FInally Glueberry...
    Day 68 GB 1.JPG

She's always been a bit behind the others, mainly cos she was pushed for space... but those buds are filling out nicely, and they smell very fruity indeed.
I expect she'll also be another 3-4 weeks.
    Day 68 GB 2.JPG

So there we are for this week, thanks for taking a look!

    COME ON YOU IRONS ;)

Day 81 and beyond - chop chop chop
  • Like a runaway train, this grow was going at full pelt then came to a grinding halt.

I managed to get a couple of close ups on day 81...

Orange Bud looks like the closest to being done...
    Day 81 OB 2.JPG

Just starting to see some ambers....
    Day 81 OB 1.JPG

The Blue Amnesia is also close...
    Day 81 BA 1.JPG

Lots of solid milkies and maybe a hint of amber....
    Day 81 BA 2.JPG

The Glueberry is also looking good...
    Day 81 GB 1.JPG

Loads of milky trichs but not much in the way of amber....
    Day 81 GB 2.JPG

So I let them go a bit more..... the plan was to take the Orange Bud down in the next weekend, around day 87, then do the Blue Amnesia, followed by the Glueberry.

On day 85, I spotted the dreaded bud rot.... in all of them. Not surprising, it's the start of summer over here, or what they call the 'wet season'.... humidity up in the 75-95% range, and temps at 20°C plus at night going over 30°C in the day.... a growers nightmare.

I had a merciless hack around all of them to stem the tide, and got on with taking the Orange Bud down.
I had to do a proper trim and manicure so I could inspect each bud for any mould..... if in doubt, I chopped it out.

There's only a certain amount of hours in the dead of night during a working week, so it took 2 days to finish harvesting the Orange, then on day 87, I started on the Blue Amnesia... more bud rot dammit.

I ended up losing quite a bit of Blue Amnesia, a good few of those long fat juicy colas had to go FFS.
It took 3 days to get the BA down, not helped by me breaking my arm trying to do the Waynes World Bohemian Rhapsody Head Bang thing for my kids amusement.

The Glueberry finally came down on day 91.... again a fair bit lost to mould.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure what I have left is all good, I hung it all on sock hangers and in boxes to dry in the tent....
    Group.JPG

    Here's some Blue Amnesia....
    BA.JPG

Some Orange Bud in a box....
    OB.JPG

They are almost ready to jar up, so I'll let you know the weights in the next post.
    Thanks for checking in!
