Day 4!.

Day 4 from seeds and the tap root have just made it into the ress this morning.
Seedling is looking very healthy and happy in her new home. I just measured the ph and ec and there still good , ec .7 and ph 5.9.
Ill give it a fresh ress change tonight as i have my new pump.

Hope so m8! its been a slow couple of days lol. you know what they say " a watched pot never boils " and all that lol.

Still waiting on my lighthouse Blacstar 240 UV led to turn up. Im guessing it will be monday now.

Indeed mate and these DWC buckets need a fair bit of watching LOL

so far i found that the PH rises a bit every day in veg but seems better with flower nutes, also i found you have to leave the res to stand for a bit after adding all your stuff as the EC after an hour or so can go up too!

saving for some LED gear myself now

I just say, go 600w HPS or go home! I just had one 400w HPS in one tent and a 600w HPS in anoter. The plants under the 600W HPS looks 1 week older @ week 8.

I've decided against putting a hps in , as im trying to kept the noise levels down , and it means i will have to run 1 or 2 extractors in there if i put a 400w or 600w hps.
So ive ordered a blackstar LED , and i can use my speed controller on my fan , just when the plant starts to smell. that way i can run it at the lowest setting possible that well get rid of some/most of the smell.

I also have 20lts of air being put into the ress through 2 air stones , so its well oxygenated.

I have no issues with ph and ec at the moment there pretty much stable. ph rises .1 over 24 hours. and plant isnt really big enough to make a dent in the ec yet.

day 5.

As you can see , she is in perfect health so far. (earley days yet tho).

I done a ress change last night and upeed the feed alittle .8ec - ph 5.7
also put new pump in.

:booya:dam that pot it bubblin! can you turn it down? small new roots are going to get battered!

im not sure about this but i think when theres more roots in the rez it affects the PH a lot more due to stuff they put out? glad its all coming together for you mate, lift off time :thumbs:

yes... as plants get bigger ph will swing much more rapidly... you'll need to dial in and do ph checks regularly... looking great mate! looking forward to this grow!
