atleast it is on-route mate, waiting for an led growlight must be painfull.. i wanna get one but i cant get a job atm, work is slack this way..

its hard to say how you roots will go, my bro has just started a "little cheese" and it has grown 1 main taproot and all the other new shoots are coming out of that, totally different to my maxi. youll prob see a few more shoots within a week..

looking forward to seeing this grow bruv, your got a nice setup running now..

I know how you feel buddy! i've been out of work for like 14 months now , theres fuck all about. It isnt so bad for me as i have a 4 year old boy and my missius works full time. So im kind of a house husband lol.

I also do alot of motocross engine repairs from home . that makes some good money. also made £4000 from me maxi's

its only been 7 months for me, but nahh seems theres no work nowhere again!!£2k a month aint bad for a house husband lol.. just got to master the oxypot n ill be laughing..

yeah them pics of them bikes looked sweet.. its quite remote here so i was always on old field bikes, always dreamt of having something as nice as the ones in your pics..

ohh n my maxi is turning.. its hairs have gone brown now, and its started to swell.. i gotta feeling i messed it up, the roots just didnt keep growing with the plant and the buds are nowhere near what i wanted

Have you considered growing in CoCo/perlite? im by no means saying dont do the oxypot. but maybe run one in coco/perlite aswell.
That way you always have one to fall back on.
I have my experiment in my oxypot and my 120tent dor my others

it could be an idea for the next run, it all depends where im living then.. i get around a bit.. if im workin ill b in my own place and do 10, but as it stands i can only do 1.. the greif i get for 1 is bad enough

im quite persistant and it was my first oxypot grow, im guessing there will be over 2.5oz dry which is ok but nomore than what i was getting in soil lol..

hopefully you will succeed a bit bitter mate, like i said i think its the air.. once my roots grew long there were parts of the roots not being bubbled directly..

Day 7!

Plant still looks picture of health.
Just done a fresh ress change and set ec to .8 and ph to 5.8 , i found the ec raised to 1 after 3 days in the ress. Guess that means the plant is drinking slightly more water than nutes at the min. ( to be expected at this stage). Ph rises alittle every day and i just reset back to 5.8 when it hits 6.1 , will let it raise to 6.5 when the plant gets older.

The roots are flying out of the bottom of the net pot now , and the tap root is huge with little off shoots coming off it.

Just spoke to the LED guy , it will be with me 2moro.

thats one hell of a taproot, could a plant in soil grow one that long in 7 days.. i think not..

sweeeeet, time to see the red and blue glow!!!! what model did you get mate? dont blackstar do a flower and a veg panel..?

I've been blown away with the rate this plant has put out roots the last couple of days , the tap root is HUGE.

Yea there is 2 versions of the lighthouse blacstar. I ordered the "240 uv flower model , with 3w leds"

it will only get faster bro..dwc is amazing to watch, you can see a difference each day, leaves and roots..

definatly the right choice, especially with autos and their instant flowering.. are you gonna consider a tank heater too.. for the sake of £30 it would be rude not to really with all the effort and $$ you are putting in to this.. the heater is one thing i didnt continue using as mine broke, i know they like the right temps as i had some good growth when it was in use(maybe this is where my problems started)..

anyways looking forward to the next colourful update mate..
