addski get a plastic food box, soak the seed till it sinks then put it into a rockwool cube then in the box sealed somewhere warm.. open once a day.

humidity in the box helps

The other 2 seeds have sank this morning .

So ill either put them into paper towels to split , or straight into rockwool in a Tupperware tub and under a 125cfl to start.

Will update laters.

Just a quick update.

All 3 seeds have now cracked and shown there tap root.
So I soaked some propergation stonewool cubes in rhizotonic and 5.4ph'ed water. And poped the seeds under the 125cfl.



Ill grow them for a 3 or days in the stonewool , and only the alpha female will make it to the oxy pot.

With my ikon oxypots i got the new aero 2 airpump , it sits inside the ress , instead of sitting outside the ress and pump through an air stone.
Its say that the aero 2 is good for 20ltrs to 50ltrs ress's.
Just wondered if anyone has any eperiance with these pumps?
I have 4 of them and was considering running 2 in one oxypot or even 4 if it would help?

imo addski id go out and get a piston air pump, you can pick em up cheap now and they really push out some air!! aim for 30 litres per min if you want to give her the max amount of air. i really would never use my aero again, it hardly seems sufficent enough for declorinating my water now.. also im not 100% but i think 2 or 4 in one oxypot might make some heat, maybe too much, but i could be wrong

Hi guys. Gonna class this as day 1 for this seedling.

All 3 seeds broke the stonewool and shedded there seed cases yesterday.
The one i decided to kept germinated first and seems alot healthier than the other two.

So i have settled her into her new home , with the treated hydro-corn. I havent filled up the ress yet as i have to go pick my new blue truncheon EC pen 2day. Also have to pick up my Hailea V-series V20 20ltrs/per min air pump. I will be running 2 airstones of the pump into one ress.
