New Grower Northern Cheese Haze - RDWC - Stealth Closet - First Grow Journal

@Mañ'O'Green Still some new pistil growth - think I should be feeding it week 10 late bloom nutes or week 11 ripening nutes? It was fed week 10 late bloom nutes last week and I project maybe 1 1/2 weeks remaining.

Check out how much this baby fleshed out when I chopped the other two!

Look at that plant what a beautiful girl :dancer:. I was just looking back to the beginning of this thread you have accomplished so much in just one grow! I use the trichomes to tell me when to harvest. I taper off the nutes the last week then do a 3 day flush with AN Flawless Finish. I look for about 10% amber to start that taper and flush to harvest at ~20% amber. I don't like my weed racy or sleepy. This is a personal preference.

@Mañ'O'Green Hey, quick update
The big girl continued to grow so large that it is smothering the girl infront of her! I just tied some paracord around her to reign her in and allow the other room to breath/grow.
Pics attached.
Is this method safe if I am using non absorbent para cord? Or will this increase chances of mold?
Started to get some pretty bad foxtails on the big girl due to poor ph balance and high heat with the change of season. I was able to correct the PH and the heat is a work in progress....
Hopefully the fox tailing will even out with further bud development? Not sure how that recovery process works. Looking like another week , maybe a bit more before flush.

The cord should be ok. I use plastic garden tape for bondage. I have only had Fox Tailing one time on a plant that went too long. It's trichomes just did not want to go amber and I kept waiting. It finally threw a couple of naners so I harvested it. There is a term for it but cannot remember it.

Great thread, how true we grow, trim, everyone else smokes it.

@Mañ'O'Green Its well past the growers recommended date and I got maybe 1/4 amber on both of the last two plants as well as deterioration of many of the fan leaves. So I have begun the flush stage of the grow. I plan to flush 3-4 days. Now... question... I want to travel this weekend for 2-3 days. Is it safe to leave them in the "flush" water with some hydroguard for 2-3 days? I am unable to find a plant-sitter at the moment, and this is one of the few weekends I can go and see my significant other....

Should be ok but it sounds like you need to harvest now?

Planning to harvest sunday. Only had about 10-15% amber trichomes and the sugar leaves have not yellowed at all, so not too worried about loss of potency. Buds certainly wont grow any more, but I prefer a balanced to racy high!

I left them with a full rez of Florakleen water with hydroguard. Having a relative up the rez's water level with some prepared solution tomorrow afternoon to hold them over until I get home sunday.

Wow that was a chore. Pre-trimming before placing in the dry box took me from 6pm to 2am even with someone helping! Everything is happily drying. I can tell you the yield for the big girl is easily equal to or greater than the yield from all 3 other plants combined.
