New Grower Mephisto GWK, 4AM, Bubbly Livers, AvT in Coco

Will be interested to see this raised platform in action. Sounds like work to me and something else for me to knock over at some point which I'm sure I would do! And how you going to get good circulation with stats in the way of the fan and plants? If it was me, I'd just put fans on the floor and point them up in to the canopy.
My thought is to do exactly that, fans pointing up from the bottom and clip on fans from the corners or top rails. It’s easy enough to make a table and then install it if the plants become unruly and I need to keep them away from the heater and humidifier. Until that time, I will keep the small fans under the canopy on the floor.

Ok I'm following that. interesting approach that should give you more space for the plants. I think @Dr.Bubbles suggested that right? your tower heater won't work though. Might want to look at this heater. I just got one and its small and powerful and quiet.

Yes, @Dr.Bubbles did make that suggestion. If it works then great, if it doesn’t then I’ll figure out something else, like a smaller heater and some rearranging.

Day 15

In true newb fashion, I’ve tried killing my plants. After spending some quality time in the infirmary, I believe my problem was underwatering and having the coco dry up. Balls. So without further ado, here are my stunted and buggered plants:

On the brighter side of the tent, I have two plants that have not suffered as badly from my errors. I’ll try not to kill them again.

Thank you @slowandeasy @Waira @Mañ'O'Green

I’ll do my best to not screw this up again.

Looking good man. Rebounding I'd say. Use that moisture meter religiously bro. It will tell you what is going on in the coco for moisture. Why guess at a factor that is super critical to seedlings when you can get a device that tells you what is going down? Like I mentioned, I wore one of the meters out in a few weeks and the tip broke off. Thats how much it was being used.

still young so plenty of time to come round
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:

Between the moisture probe and the dry pot lifting, I’ll get the hang of it. I do know that I will not let them dry up again. If that happens, come over and kick me in the junk. In the mean time, I’ll just keep watching them and reading the grow journals here. Looking forward to growing these out and starting another round of Mephisto goodness. So much to learn about these plants...
