Y'all should get on the EV train with me and @Mañ'O'Green .

When people are complaining about gas prices I just ask "what is this guzzoline you speak of?"

I couldn’t make it camping or towing anything I was just looking at the new RAM truck “charger” it’s a hybrid. In rural America charging on the go will be a issue

I changed my filter now. That NL I'm growing, geez. Holy 💩.

I remember reading somewhere that you can clean your used filters? Does any of you have any experience with that? I mess them up bad, I smoke under them and stuff, destroys them in 6 months, and I don't think you can get smoke out of them easily
ac infinity filters are reversible and refillable. start buying those.. a refill pack from them is like 25 bucks... just need a back massager or something to pack the fresh charcoal :cool1:

The trouble with EV's that I see is that they are a lot heavier than normal vehicles and therefore will be harder on the roads. Right now fuel taxes pay for the road mtce. Something will change when those fuel tax dollars cease and I doubt you will have free charging anywhere. Right now the closest fast charging station is an hours drive from here. The biggest issue is if we become totally EV dependent we are sitting ducks if our enemies target our power grid.
I sure wish they looked a little harder into fuel cells and hydrogen. Those I could see being plausible.

The issue here is there isn't enough electrical infrastructure to deliver enough current now. We get constant warnings during summer to turn down or off AC except in emergencies.

But all new construction here is going electric stoves, and often electric heat too.

For electric cars to work as we need, they need a common sized hot swappable battery module. You buy the car and pay a fee every time you swap batteries with your battery leasing company. Just like a cordless drill.

The car lasts much longer because you aren't tied to battery lifetime.

I don't disagree but,

When the power is out, the pumps don't work either and neither do the credit card machines.

I would love a hydrogen car. Toyota makes the Mirai but it's CA only due to lack of refill stations. Cool car though.

America's mistake is pushing EV's instead of plug in hybrids.

I need a car that I can jump into and drive 500 miles in a random direction, knowing that I can get refilled along the way.
Yep absolutely. I wanted the new Prius Prime but I could not get Toyota to sell me one. 50mile ev range and gas after that. Would have been perfect.

Im going to my sisters house to spend it with her and my niece and nephew. Gonna pig out and spend time with the Family. Should be fun. Small but fun. You guys planning a feast?!?!

We don't celebrate it... :pighug: ....small but fun sounds like my kinda day.......:pass:
