Beware hybrid trucks if you are towing long distance - the hybrid advantage quickly disappears. You just end up with a heavier truck towing on gasoline, not electric (the battery is dead weight after discharged). The hybrid pickups, IMO, are more about performance than fuel efficiency. I considered the Ford hybrid F150, but it would be a mistake for towing our travel trailer. The battery capacity is simply too small to handle the energy requirements of towing for any distance.
For local contractor stuff where overnight charging will do a complete charge, the full electric F150 is a game changer, but again, not so good for long multi day towing trips. Battery tech has a way to go yet to replace long distance towing performance in a half ton pickup.
