America's mistake is pushing EV's instead of plug in hybrids.

I need a car that I can jump into and drive 500 miles in a random direction, knowing that I can get refilled along the way.
Im so proud of my parents for going with the Rav4 Prime plug in hybrid. Its such a nice car and so convenient!! Paired with home solar its awesome!

Well as usual, one FIM took and the other just got topped. Id say im more successful than not when FIM topping, but its always a gamble lol.

Fun fact: -40⁰ Celsius is the same as -40⁰ Farenheit. Too ducking cold either way.
It is too forking cold a long way short of -40. IMO. The dearest and I seem to be losing our cold tolerance. We used to think nothing about being out skiing most of the day at -15C. Not so enjoyable any more at that temperature. :pighug:

I couldn’t make it camping or towing anything I was just looking at the new RAM truck “charger” it’s a hybrid. In rural America charging on the go will be a issue
Beware hybrid trucks if you are towing long distance - the hybrid advantage quickly disappears. You just end up with a heavier truck towing on gasoline, not electric (the battery is dead weight after discharged). The hybrid pickups, IMO, are more about performance than fuel efficiency. I considered the Ford hybrid F150, but it would be a mistake for towing our travel trailer. The battery capacity is simply too small to handle the energy requirements of towing for any distance.

For local contractor stuff where overnight charging will do a complete charge, the full electric F150 is a game changer, but again, not so good for long multi day towing trips. Battery tech has a way to go yet to replace long distance towing performance in a half ton pickup. :pighug:
