"Return to Paia" by the Aquavelvets

I spent a couple of winters in Paia, windsurfing Ho'okipa every day (early 80's, before it got too crowded). I was sorta laying low in those days waiting to see if I'd get indicted after an old shipmate got caught on a shrimp boat loaded with ganj. One afternoon a couple of suits showed up at the beach. I figured they were there for me, so I sat on my board out beyond the surf until after they left, near dusk. Turns out they were lawyers visiting one of my surf buddies after work. Way to be paranoid!

You mentioned your neighbours were gonna sell some land in the nearer future so I had a look on idealista and discovered that there is plenty of cheap land for sell. Even me with my tiny wallet can get a decent piece for just a few € down there :smoking:

I’ll go there in the beginning of the year and see if I can settle my ass and do some outdoors for the first time next summer
