The key, I've found, is to make sure whatever you pick is obnoxious enough to make them get out of bed to go turn it off lol.

Anything Thomas or Frozen sends them down the stairs screaming "oh no, oh no" as well. Idk if I'm traumatizing them or what but oh well lol. Better than mom coming in and ripping the blanket off when I was a kid. I've been known to sic the vicious kisser pup on them as well which is fun, until she plops down on top of them and they *can't* get up since she weighs more than them and is absolutely dead weight lol.

I *cannot* wait for them to leave so I can blast off. Just remember I'd promised hubby chicken marsala over roasted potatoes tonight so yay one more thing I need to do. Still need to get baked first regardless since my head is going to explode from the high pitched upset child noises. At least I have a few hours to veg before he gets off work.

You could do some "herb" over the roasted potatoes

Or use some "Spice" on the chicken.
