Did you get any subsidies from the state for the solar? Can't get any where I am due to city. They buy power from Appalachian power and mark it up. Bastiges!

Yes. The system was installed 10 years ago, before I was here. The first 8 years was .12/kw buy back for electric company. My current contract is for .08/kw for the next 8 years. The incentives are slowly disappearing. Electric companies started building solar farms instead incentivizing home units. Greedy f'ing
