Decided on Baby Back ribs for dinner, Corn on the cob and green salad.

So from a diabetic standpoint what is the worst part of this meal?


It is the BBQ sauce. It is made with High Fructose Corn Syrup.

It would seem like the corn should be but boiled corn on the cob has only a low Glycemic index and a medium glycemic load.

The glycemic load is different depending on the blend of fructose / Glucose It gets into the blood very rapidly and causes spikes in blood sugar levels. This is undesirable.
 



Sitting in the morning....... cloudy sun... :headbang: ... ........... hubby says we have a strong to severe thunderstorm warning on from midday....


The girls are stopped... I feel as if they are bristling...... revving up......but I could be wrong.........:crying:


I've run out of Bud Candy.....but I had some worm castings...so I topped the pots and watered it in....:watering:.. until I can get some more BC.


This neglectful fertilizant thinks they may need food to Woof.........:grin:

This pot.. Lucky Dragons takes my eyes every morning....because of the balance.........:biggrin:.... multiple girls...but looking like one huge one...



This one not so much...but if you look at the 3 tall girls...look at the bud..node spacing..heigh..build...maturity...you See the options I'm presented with for breed selection....:headbang:...they are full siblings....and that variety floats my breeder brain...
