I use Wyze inside and out here. I have mostly V3's inside and pan/tilt outside.

Use a card, don't rely on their cloud.


We picked up some cheapo cameras for around the house, but they don't have many functions... Have you used the wyze for time lapse before? I was reading it's one of the features available. I was looking for the best option on a budget... The internet keeps telling me to stick an expensive go pro in there lol.
 
No, I've never done a time lapse with them.

Figure out how long a period the time lapse should be for, how many days.

Decide how many seconds the final video should be, and multiply that by 30 frames/sec. This is the total number of shots the camera will take.

Divide that into your total time lapse, and you get your interval between shots.

Oh I love math, this should be fun.

90days, 30fps, 1min video? = 20/day? About once an hour should make a nice video.
