I'VE GOT 'STUFF'
TO DO TODAY!
I'M NOT TRUSTING YOU
TODAY!
THERE WILL BE NO
RELAXING WHILE
UNDER YOUR
INSANE INFLUENCE!
:funny::funny::funny::funny::funny::funny::funny:

Me likey dis new toy! Yes I DO!:holymoly:
Wish me luck for today, please! I have stuff to do today that MUST get done.

Yeah.......with a waking pain level of around 7 and quickly went to a 9, I've had to medicate pretty heavily. It has taken me over 3hs to get to a level where I can go out. I guess I slept in a position my back didn't like.

Getting old isn't for pussies!
Getting old with a lot of injuries, is extremely 'trying'.................about the best word to use without getting too macabre/depressing.
It sure makes me feel for my brothers that are in far worse condition than me. It takes REAL fortitude to endure what some must go thru. Not just the pain, but what the pain does to you mentally. Yeah, it's stressful with any kind of pain, but this pain only reminds you of the circumstances of when you were injured. I'm lucky! I don't remember that much. When I was finally able to debrief, that screwed me up vastly more than the pain. I had memory loss about 3 months around that time. So the debrief filled in some of the missing pieces..............they could have just stayed missing for all I friggin care!
With those worse off than me still enduring, that gives me strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other, inhale and exhale and wake up and sometimes go to sleep. It makes the 'alternative' far less likely!

Speaking of the 'alternative':
WHAT THE HELL is up a VA 'counselor' asking a Veteran, "Have you made 'plans' to commit suicide?"
LADY! What the hell is there to friggin 'PLAN'? You just go do it!
Then they have the audacity to ask, "Do you have fire arms or access to them?" To my Vet brothers here, NEVER answer that question!!!! Just laugh at them and tell them, "You may have the security clearance, but you sure as hell don't have the need to know!" If they are stupid enough to ask you that question, your reply will fly over their retarded heads...........but YOU will know that YOU burned their ass......and that's all that counts!:eyebrows::rofl::rofl:

Well, I've killed enough time to fit with my 'chillren' schedule. <-------Silly shit that a plant dictates your schedule. But if ya think about it a bit, every homeowner, canna grower or farmer is a slave to some sort of plant!
Gonna visit ol' Swordy one last time before I leave.......jes little taste.:eyebrows:

What chew tryin' to say, that I'm a 500lb Silverback, that would rip your arms an legs of for looking at my plants in the wrong way!
Well that maybe true before I've had my first cup of Joe for the day!
After that well I'm a much more fun Gorilla to be around! :eyebrows: :crying:

Bluelab soil probe is a ginormous piece of malarkey! I ordered it 1st and not only is it huge in comparison but had 2 show up broke before they ever reached my door! Got my money back and bought the Hanna FOR MUCH LESS and it works way better! :d5:

Only good thing about bluelab is it’s big enough after it breaks u could repurpose it as a peg leg or maybe u could go pole vaulting! Attach some line and go marlin fishing with it!:rofl:

The size of that probe is prolly why its 130 bucks, i got the hannah for 90 and another 10 for calibration and storage fluids

Nope it’s cuz it’s shipped in this and this alone! View attachment 1499373

Plain old cardboard box and not even a sticker saying fragile! Also the bluelab one comes just like that meter alone in a box! The Hanna one was like $50 less and it came with everything u need! You’ll need extra calibration fluid but it comes with 2 or 3 satchels of both 4 & 7ph liquid fluid! Also bluelab one they sell a tool you are supposed to use to make the giant divot in soil before u insert probe so u don’t break it on some pumice or something stabbing it into the medium! With this Hanna 1 I use a king palm packing stick and it makes perfect size hole for free!

Hanna also comes with hummus and soil cleaning fluids for cleaning the tip of probe along with electrode gel and storage solution! That stuff would prob add another $100 to bluelab cost which is already around $180 (back over a year ago when I ordered mine) so not sure cost nowadays!

I neverhad me no Hanna Hummus!

The Hanna 1 still shows as $130 I just checked! And it has all the necessary stuff with it! Bluelab is listed at $160 on bunch of websites but saw it showed price drop on amazon and was $115 but still giant and has no supplies with it! U don’t need to stab 8” into the soil to get a ph reading so no idea why bluelab is so huge!

Just realized I haven't done an overhead view side by side in a while!

Hubby is going out to sweep up his mulch mess from weeding presently. Fruit need still needs a major cleaning but overall I'm pretty damn happy! And more importantly, so are the pollinators!!

Think this may be on the list of upgrades in the near future! Be nice to know what’s going on in soil so can dial in when to topdress!

Still hate the "bush" bed by the road so that's gonna be reimagined when it cools down and I'm absolutely formulating a plan of what I'm gonna do with the space where that last stupid boxwood I doesn't realize was ours at first cause I'm absolutely ripping that bitch out asap. Probably gonna do some research today on toads and such and maybe create a little toad habitat since I know we have them and I wanna encourage them to hang out for the sake of pest control. We will see

I have a few of these that I used all the time in the past. But now I only use them if a problem arises that I can't seem to fix. They're nice to have in the arsenal.
