I think I'll go down right now and see if I can see anything. Ill take a pic of what I find, since yall have much more experience you can tell me if it looks like its still healthy. Im assuming as long as the tap root is white and not shriveled, its healthy enough to keep growing. If theres one at all
Thats what I would do. And it dont hurt to mist the soil keep it moist till it pops either. Thats what I do anyway.

@Shugrows @Frank the Dank, and anyone else

I misted it yesterday lightly, but most of that seems to have dried up. Its growing, i tagged you and frank in the pic. I think my next grow im going to mix the rest of my ocean forest with happy frog or light warrior or possibly just germ in a solo cup with only light warrior and transplat after germination

With young plants I like to water on the outside edge of the pot. The middle will still absorb some moisture. But that water on the outside will help your roots grow bigger and faster. Too much water in soil and they take longer to grow and is harder for roots to grow. The roots search for the water so if u water on the outside edge them roots go searching for water filling out the pot quicker if that makes sense?

Yes it does, to be honest I didnt even water at all the soil was so moist out of the bag I actually started my pot about 1.5 days before popping the seed in there to dry it out a bit, but even then my moisture meter said the soil was wet. It was sitting outside in the rain when I bought it but the bag had zero holes for rainwater to leech in, thats just how fox farm packed it. I might start buying it dry from now on

I planted it directly in the soil, about 1.5 inches deep, i just pushed a well in the middle of my pot and popped it in, lightly covered it. The soil was so moist already. I didnt bother watering it.
1.5 inches deep? That's about 1 to 1.25 too deep...

Really, yall only go just below the surface. Ill keep that in mind next time, ive always planted about an between 1-2" deep. But its probably why shes taking so long to push through. Its definitely growing though but its first set of leaves are a little yellow, though they havent opened up yet as its still technically under ground.

I had the same issue with a bag of miracle grow soil. Super wet soil from being outside. My veggies are doing good in it but at first it was so wet it smelled musty and funky. But it dried and now is good. Weird.
