Buy a frame (mine was from harbor freight), buy a set of plates from dabpress (they'll come already wired and ready to go). And other then that all you need are bags, parchment, dab tool and a container. Think it only took 2 wrenches to put my whole setup together

You can buy the parts when you have the money like i use to do when i was building up engines, this way you are not throwing a chunk of $$ all at once at it.

12 ton shop press $169 from harbor freight and 3x5 caged plates from dabpress $240. That's all you need for under $420. The h frame does take up a lot of space though. But 12 ton prebuilt presses are pretty expensive...

Which frame did you get? The 20 ton?

Mine is 12. Way overkill. I think 6 ton is probably plenty really

Bought an Ardent awhile back, but still haven't put it to work yet. Can you run MCT oil through the thing twice to make super concentrated oil? Like run a batch and then run a new batch with the same oil thereby making it double?

Will that work or will it make the oil do something funky?

I’m 3 pages back but u can absolutely do that! I aim for 20ml/mg in the tcheck so I usually will use some buds and if not strong enough I’ll get a jar of stem and leaf trash I save from when I break buds up and I’ll decarb them and then pour same oil over it and infuse it a 2nd time! I’ll make gummies that put peeps on their ass! They make me chill and enough will make me tired but last batch gave my mom 1 and she said she was totally stoned off of it! And she gets a script from the state for a medical trial she’s part of so she takes them on daily basis! Her script is 10mg gummies I think!

Think I’m gonna go hit the American Shaman store and buy some cbd flowers so I can make a cbd infusion! Then I’ll mix that with some regularly infused oil and try to make a nice blend!

Anyone else do it that way or have u in the past? If yes did it work as expected?
