but I suspect that the chance of serious long covid symptoms persisting will be reduced a lot by keeping current with vaccination.
:yeahthat:Yes i probably jumped the gun a little on my comment:coffee2: I would agree with that I am not totally against it but haven't had a need to run out and get yet but somedays long covid does sure seem real :d5::pighug:

The dearest and I will also be in line with our sleeves up. Likely while we are travelling in the US in a couple weeks, same as our last booster.

I'd rather not catch this virus, but if I do, I would prefer to give the aging immune system all the help I can give it, and I'd rather not pass it on to others. :pighug:

Yup...... :d5: ....my Need to See me Mother is tempered by the fact I don't want to kill her......:pass:

IMO...Airorts and Airplanes are probably the worst Hot Spot I'll Hit in my normal life......simply because of the Mix of Countries that you will come into contact with.

The same here as I take care of mom and dad, they hadn't the need to even step out of their house since this whole covid deal began, they have had the boosters.
I got sick as all heck after my first shot, the doc confirmed I had already had the covid and didn't even know it! The doc said my allergies probably hid the symptoms. I had the covid again just 2 months or so ago and again no symptoms other than a runny nose.

Sadly, the vaccines so far available for covid are not 100% effective at preventing repeat infections. But odds are high that after vaccination, the severity of infection will be milder, perhaps far milder. Further, I do not know whether there is good information on this, but I suspect that the chance of serious long covid symptoms persisting will be reduced a lot by keeping current with vaccination.

I will be getting the new Omicron vaccine as soon as I can get it. :goodluck: :pighug:
I have zero faith in vaccinations developed at warp speed, with such limited testing. Developed by Pharm companies that are already Government money dumps, who of course will line up to graciously accept the next in record time. The web is filled with literally hundreds of thousands of videos and testimonials about the real damage these vaccines have caused people. They are unsafe.

At the end of the day, I trust millions of years of human evolution and the process of naturally acquired immunity that built our immune systems to be what they are today...Over the drive to rake in as much money as possible, as quickly as possible.. And definitely over the words and opinions of leaders and quacks who themselves did not follow the rules they put in place for us commoners during the outbreak of the Pandemic. Whom also, might I add.. absolutely mishandled the situation, such as in New York.

I've acquired Covid 3 times. The first time I was sick for 2 weeks. I took my Vitamins and such, and near the end of week 1 I began taking 75 Mg of CBD, and immediately began feeling better. The second time, I took the CBD straight away and was sick for seven days at not even near as sick as before... The third, I began immediately and was sick for 4 days. At this point I believe I've established my naturally acquired immunity.
