She has paint pens that she does the art with, then sprays them with lacquer to seal them  Wifee and daughter are the artists .. guess i'm the muse for the rocks

U the muse or just the person she sends to pick her up a bucket of rocks!

Good that the nutbar poodle found a good home. Some of those purebreds are trouble, too much genetic mischief behind the show dog strains.

We are super lucky with our mutt. She doesn't like being left alone, no dog does, but she just curls up on the bench in the entrance and waits for someone to show up. She is a pretty easy pet.

A friend of mine has a ~100+ pound golden lab cross mutt that has separation anxiety bad. On one occasion, he literally chewed his way through the gyproc wall trying to get out when left alone inside. The friend left the dog with a someone once, with fair warning, which the dog sitter later regretting not paying enough attention to. I can't remember how much damage the dog did, but it got the friend's undivided attention for a while. Not a mistake soon repeated.
That was the only dog I've ever had with that sort of problem. The old lady never went anywhere and he didn't freak when non-household members left. He was 4 or 5 when we got him. He didn't stay with us for long, just under a year when Mom said "ENOUGH" and Dad found him a home. He lived for another 10 years with the old lady, she passed soon after.
Bonding is key with dogs. I got a dog from the same people that Dad N Mom got their Chihuahua/Manchester cross. She was a character and a chow hound. She minded extremely well. Grandma lived two houses down and she'd have to go see Grandma at least once a day. She'd go to the front door and she had one bark that meant that she wanted out to go see GrandMa. That was the ONLY time you'd hear that bark.
My dog from them was the same cross, but he was the 'deer' type. That dog was NEVER fat. He only slept when I did and with me. When I first got him, I could carry him in my shirt pocket, big shirt pockets back then. There's a million stories with that little fugger. When he got sick at the end, I got fresh orders and I came home for a few days. Mom kept telling him I was coming home soon. He hung around until I got home. All he could do is look up with his eyes and wag his tail when he saw me. He drank a little water for me. I sat him and his bed on the couch with me and we watched TV. He loved watching TY, especially football. I think he just liked being with the family and getting excited with us during the game. He passed there with my hand on his back. At least he was happy with 'his boy' beside him when he left. I made him a little casket that night. I cleaned him up and laid him in the casket with his favorite blanket and buried him in the backyard the next morning.
How could I not send off my long time friend in that fashion? Some people say dogs just read our body language and react to that, but I know better. I know he understood Mom when she told him I was coming. Mom said he'd wag his tail a little when she said my name.
Mom N Pop came out to Cali for a visit when I was stationed in San Diego. They made it a trip with their travel trailer. Dad took a leisurely trip out and it took a few days with them stopping to look at the sights. When they stopped, he would get all excited, thinking he'd see me. He would tuck his tail and look at Mom and cock his head. Dad told Mom, "He thinks you're lying to him, Momma!" LOL!
They were just about there, when Dad had to stop for fuel. I think he had three or four 'accidents' the entire time he lived and he was sick those times. He left a big ol' turd right at the door of the trailer! I think he was letting Mom know he didn't like being lied to! LOL!
Mom cleaned up the mess and brought him to the cab of the truck, so he could spend the last of the trip watching where he was going. He LOVED that. Mom kept telling him, "We're getting close!"
Mom said he sulked like crazy when they arrived and I hadn't got home yet. Everyone knew when I was coming home though. That little fugger got all excited and started running around all of a sudden. Mom, Dad and the wife didn't know what was going on until I opened the door. That little fugger heard and recognized my walk from the other side of the building!

I keep thinking it's time for another friend. I've gone to a couple of shelters, but he/she wasn't there. I had a stray come by the other day. He wanted to be my friend with his body language, but he also wanted the cats and I don't think he wanted them as friends. I chased him off with my Super Soaker water gun and with the Momma cats on his ass.

Couldn't recommend getting a dog enough. They're way better then people  My life is immeasurably better with a dog around and generally anybody who doesn't like the dog/s can f off :crying: No better sidekick then a well trained pooch

Questions for all you rosin pressers out there…..worth it? Do you still smoke flowers? Do you feel it’s better for your lungs?

I’m contemplating getting one…. I smoked six pounds of weed last year. Can’t be great…. Thanks in advance:pass:
