Well, I do have to admit that the movie had to meet my high expectations after reading the book. They could have made things a bit more accurate.

Good morning monos!
In normal Texas fashion, the weather ends a drought with a flood! The way the clouds were moving yesterday, I knew it was going to get rough. Lots of rain moving thru, but the actual leading edge was moving very slowly. Some parts of Dallas received 10 inches in a few hours.
At least it should end the burn ban in my area. Hay fields will make that last vital cutting, even more important, with most areas getting only one cutting so far.
