Sounds good @WildBill - I had to drop 3 AvT to get 1 to germ. I bought them from a seed bank along with a pack of HBH. I tried to germ the HBH but struck out after 5 beans. My working theory is that Covid has imposed bad storage conditions in transit - like sitting in a sealed container parked on cargo ship off port for who knows how long.

I've only bought directly from a breeder, even good old cheap seeds Linda Seeds. I've only had two fails and they sprouted, but damped off 2 or 3 days later.
Either bad seeds or ya need to review your sprouting procedures.
