So this is my little berry patch so far lol. I got to the roots for the camellia and stopped back in June since it got so hot that I was starting to get sick from it. The big hole in the back is from taking out the biggest boxwood, we dog a good 4' down trying to get as many of the roots out as possible. Finally got hubby out there to pull all the weeds on his day off on Tuesday, they were about chest high. He got most of them but its way way better than it was lol.

And some more/better/closer pics of the big girl out front. She's almost as big as my hsnd if you're counting her legs.

They may sound cruel. But if you throw a grasshopper in that web. What happens next is amazing.

Lol there's plenty of bugs out there for them to catch, especially now that all the hiding spots have been pulled out  If I spot that grasshopper up on the balcony again I'll try to catch it to feed to my new friends. Though maybe I'd be better off relocating one of them up there instead... far less work for me.

Dodged a bullet today guys , I was home alone , the wife was working and the boys are away . I could hear the fire , what saved us was it did not jump the road as the local lads did a great job . 3rd time now , that is enough , time to move , so I will sell up to be in a safer place . I foremost have to keep my family safe . All it has to do is jump the road , which it did last time , but I was there and told the lads as they where packing up and did not see it , so close .
