This is my new guard mantis Manuel! He was feasting in the lil greenhouse tent but since too hot for plants inside I went ahead and moved him to the cucumbers once he finished lunch!

When I found him in greenhouse I got a big clear plastic cup to move him in but dude wanted no part of it! However he didn’t mind going for a ride to the other side of the house!
Moved him over cuz I got aphids driving me batshit crazy! Overrunning my cucumbers so got those lacewing larvae/ had some dead ones so they are sending assassin bugs too/ and then had Mother Nature show up to help out with some ladybug larvae! Also seen few adults so hopefully they are laying eggs to help in the battle!
Sprayed with neem oil but they seemed to go immune to it so got that pure crop1 stuff cuz it’s ok to use with beneficial bugs SO NO IDEA HOW MANY OF THEM BLACK APHID SPOTS ARE ACTUALLY DEAD FROM SPRAYING!
Guess we’ll soon find out!
