Indoor Killernecrox's Third Grow - Samsara Supersonic Crystal Storm & Fast Bud #2

Alright thanks everyone for giving a hand. It's really stressing me out.

'Having no way as a way'

Hey Ripster, how do you know if they are stunted ? If FB2 is a little stunted then CS would be fully stunted ? Omg i have no idea why is this happening to my grows other than my first grow which was successful. They started out really good but i was thinking if the change to the LED light might cause the stunting. But if you looked at my week 1 report and Day13/Day12 Report, FB2 has grown but CS hasn't grown much. I am wondering what is wrong. Do you think i should start feeding this coming week 2 ? Thanks for the comment!

Well partner, at this age, they should be bigger with nice big fan leaves on them. I might have to agree with vapeo here. Let them dry out some. Then hit them with some light veg. nutes. What's your temps/humidity in your grow room? Got a small fan on them to make them strong right?

Well bro, we'll all be hanging around to help you out. Just keep us posted on everything you do there. Maybe we can pinpoint the problem. Blue has lots of LED experience I think. See what she thinks about the light... Maybe your spectrum is off.:dunno: Can you fine tune it?

:karma Cloud: :karma Cloud: :karma Cloud: There, that should help:peace:

+rep to buddie....

Hey guys. I am relating this problem to PH issue. I have swapped my LED to my 60 w daylight cfl and they ain't getting better. When i watered on week 1, they ph going in was around 6.5-6.6 which was optimal but the run off was 7+ so i am thinking the ph is too high that is why they ain't getting the nutrients they need. So on my next watering, i am going to ph my water to 6.0 before watering and should i add in 1/8 veg nutes too ? I am really thinking that they are yellowing because they couldn't absorb the nutrients due to the ph being off.

What's your thoughts on this ? Thank you guys for being here for me.

Try foliar feeding while you adj. your soils PH... If you think it's high, flush it with some plain water with a PH of 6.25. If you have a 1 gallon pot use 3 gallons of water.

I've got an idea to help you get those babies started off on the right track. It wont help on this grow, but it'll save you on the rest of them.

Before you put any plants in the pots, do a slurry test on your soil. This will tell you what it's PH is before you even start. That way you can have your soil PH right, from the start...

1. Place soil sample about full in sample jar and add distilled water to cover soil.

2. Cap jar and shake the soil vigorously a few times.

3. Let mixture stand 10 minutes to dissolve the salts in the soil.

4. Calibrate the pH tester with a pH 4.01 and a pH 7.01 buffer solution.

5. Remove the cap and place the pH tester into the wet soil slurry.

6. Measure pH and record measurement.

One of the easiest ways to correct the pH of your soil (both acidic and alkaline) is by adding compost. The alternative is to add an alkaline source (such as ground limestone) to acidic soil or an acidic source (such as pine needles or peat moss) to alkaline soil.

:tiphat:

Alright so my air pots are 5 litres and i will have to flush them with 15 litres of 6.25 phed water each ? How do i start foliar feeding them ? Just add veg nute and ph the water to 6.5 and then spray ? Do i spray them weekly or daily ?

Yes, but make sure your foliar spray is at least half the dose of your soil feed.

So if i were to feed my soil 1/4 i would have to make sure my foliar spray dose is 1/8 ? Do i spray daily or weekly ?

And also after flushing my soil with 6.2-6.3 ph water, do i have to test the run off ? What should my optimal run off be ?

Best to buy a bottle of foilar feeding!
Or use epsom salts and booster(canna-boost) in a low dosis !
I recommend to make the dose low but to apply everyday!
Your cant change your soil just buy flushing it a bit! Try transplanting into good soil otherwise I don't see a very good outcome!

The thing is i would very much like to buy the soils that you guys recommend but i don't have them in my country and the bad side is i don't have enough cash to buy them online because the shipping fee is like thrice the cost of the soil. I would like to transplant into good soil but i don't have any more soil. So basically it's like saying i'm fucked...

Most of the stuff you guys mention, i don't have them in my country because i'm in an asia so maybe it's my luck for being in asia but i can't do anything. I am really trying my best to save my babies considering that my second(Seeds didn't sprout which was my fault because i let the paper towel get dried up) grow failed and also my third grow failed too which i am relating the mistake to PH being off or the soil was too compact (I pushed it down). This time round i am thinking it is because of my PH being off and too high that is why the plant ain't absorbing the nutrients.

I know you guys are really trying to help and giving good advices but i really can't do anything if you were to tell me to buy stuff that is not present in my country and i know i can buy them online but i have spent a lot on this grow setup and for the seeds that i have wasted so i am really pretty broke now.. I really hope there is a way for me instead of giving up that is why even though i am extremely stressed out due to my plants but i am still trying my best.
