I am looking forward to them showing their sex! How many days should i give the Crystal Storm before giving up and germinating a new seed ?

Yeah my bed is just beside my closet and whenever i wake up, the first thing that i see are my plants! It's amazing to see the new growth everyday as i wake up(Not for my previous grow which was insanely slow).

Samsara Supersonic Crystal Storm(Lowryder x Black Domina) is an extremely cool name and it was a freebie seed. I have another one if i'm not wrong so if this one doesn't sprout i can germinate another.

Hopefully everyone goes through this grow with me

See, ya didn't even have to worry about the CS popping :Sharing One: Now the hard part is over, germination...

I've got a buddy in Romania that grew and crossed the CS with my Spirit51 strain. It turned out awesome. The CS alone is great smoke, from what my partner says...

Now just keep um moist and warm and that will get you through the next phase. First set of true leaves....

Keep it up killer, you'll be harvesting those fine buds in 60/70 days... Mark your calender...

Week 0 Report

So CS has finally shown her head and is considered day 1 and FB is day 2.

CS seems pretty small compared to FB at day 1 but i think it's not fair to compare them that way because of genetics right ?

Currently i am only using one 60w daylight cfl which is like 2-3 inches away and is in the middle of CS & FB. Do you think it is okay if they stretch towards the light side ways because the light is not directly above both of them but in the middle(check the pictures out) ? I was wondering if i should swap over to my 140w LED by week 2 or should i wait till week 3 ?

It's always good for the plants to bend to the light. As long as you continue to rotate the pots, so it bends back straight. Out in nature, I've seen my plants facing east in the morning, nice and straight at noon and by dinner time, they're bending to the west.
I short, they're following the sun and this bending process strengthens the stalks.

Week two would just fine. Although now wouldn't hurt a thing either. If ya switch, make sure the fan flutters the plants. For movement...:thumbs:

Now to answer, one of your questions. If I were you I would throw that LED in asap!! Its not always the power a light produces, but sometimes the distance. Start out anywhere from 16-24 inches. Start out high (20"-24" at least) and just pay attention to how your plants react. Make sure you stretch them out to much, but don't bleach or burn them either. The key thing I watch for is my leaves reaching up to the light, and 77°-80° at the top of the canopy. Good luck bro!! :Sharing One:

The reason why i started with CFL is because i am worried that my LED light might be too strong for my girls and it might stunt their growth. On my previous grow i started out with LED and they ended up really small but it might be because the soil was too compacted and there wasn't root growth. So should i switch over around week 1 or week 2 ?

As I said, if I were you they would be under the LED right now. However if you want to wait until week 1 or 2, go with week 1. The sooner the better! :thumbs: I run 3 135w UFO's from start to finish, only 2 for the first week. You can check out my grow, I've got some new seeds just starting!
