Sweet Seeds Killernecrox's Second Grow | Fast Bud #2 |140W Led & 5L Airpot

A seedling that small shouldn't have any defficencies.Just leave her alone and maybe get the pots off the floor. The pots should be in a warm place. At her stage she is forming the roots and not growing much, this is normal, and she will start growing soon.

Yeah Nams right about that.
Once that tap root hits bottom, Off We Go! It took nearly 3 weeks for mine to get it's shit together. Don't feed, just let it go. DON'T overwater. Autos do a taproot thing I read about here where all top growth stops until that root hits the bottom of the pot. Then she goes up and out.

Was it as small as mine on your week 2 ? Yup i'm definitely not overwatering as i'm letting it get really dry.

No, but mine were sprouted in Hempy cups (Solo party cups filled with perlite). Way shallower than your pot. Top growth of mine was ongoing until I moved her into the bucket, then everything stopped for about 2 weeks. As soon as I got the roots going, BOOM! Off she goes.

Not sure how much truth there is to the tap root thing...

Hopefully it's tap root is settling down. But it's weird that both of my plants are small on their week2/week3 compared to other grow journals which has plenty of top growth. Why doesn't others have their tap root settling down before the top growth ?

Just curious.

I am thinking it might because i am underwatering. Firstly the airpots dry up faster because of the holes and also the breeze from the fan and i watered them weekly. I realized last week when i fed it really perked up and had new growth but it wasn't much because they are both still looking miniature. I am gonna feed 1/4 veg nute and 1/4 tsp of bsm later when the lights go off.

Hey i know this is a really old post but i was really inspired by this grow journal and got my fast bud #2 seeds and now they are currently at day 22 but they look like day 7. I'm wondering if it's the seed or if it's me. Would be lovely if you could check out my grow journal. Do you think at week 3 it is small because it is still having root growth and not top growth yet ? Thanks !

Mate i just read from 1st page of Your journey.

One advice i can give to You:

dont overthing things,... dont stress to much, the nature will carry on herself, those plants are called weed for a reason, they can carry...

better to leave plants alone and observe and do nothing, than doing 10 things at once (watering, feeding, cutting, lsting, shouldening) do one thing at once and watch.

Hi killernecrox!

Thanks for pointing that out. Sorry for the results you're getting and for the failure in germination you had with previous strains that you tried to germinate before getting the Fast Bud #2.

First of all I think the forum rules don't allow me to post outside of the Sweet Seeds subforum so I can't post in your thread to help you and, on the other hand, I definetly don't want to use this test-grow diary to give assistance to other grow operations.

Can you ask any mod to move your thread into the Sweet Seeds subforum?

At first sight there are a lot of reasons why you can't compare your grow with this one, starting on the fact that I used HPS and you are using LEDs, which is something that makes a whole lot of difference. I also never fed my plants in the first month and it seems like you're feeding them a lot of times. Also, there is not one picture where the soil is dry, it always looks moist, which is not good to the plants, specially when they are babies that don't have enough roots to get to every place in the pot and "drink" the water.

The LEDs do not dry the environment just like HPS do, so everything goes slower and if on top you water them too often and feed them with nutes when they are in a new and rich soil, then the results you're getting are actually very normal and acceptable.

Please don't reply to this in this thread. If you don't get a mod to move your thread to the Sweet Seeds subforum, please start a new thread and we'll be most pleased to help you out there.

I'd move your post and mine to a new thread but I don't have mod permissions that allow me to do that. If any mod reads this and could move the 2 posts into a new thread would be great.

I'd wish you luck and that they get better and growing faster, but unfortunatelly for autos it is now too late and they will start flowering soon, which means you'll get mini-plants. There's no solution for that at this point, I'm sorry.

All the best. Kind regards,

tommy
