Outdoor High Altitude/Desert Outdoor Organic Grow – Five Indica, One Sativa

Subbing in too:pop:

sunny, dry and windy are the best conditions for a max of transpiration for the plants, i'm sure you get big heavy plants and buds...and DP genetics are hard to kill, they will deal it:vibe::headbang:

Day 9 - Pots in a big pot. I put the seedlings back outside for the afternoon. Sunny and 70's/21 for the next week or so. My plan is to keep the plants on an outdoor during the day, inside at night schedule until the early morning temperatures warm up a bit more. They are responding well to being outside, much better than being under the grow light.

very nice man :) maybe you shouldnt hang the temp sensor in the direct sun.

crazy temps u get there hehe but because of the altitude u may end up with a higher thc level because of the higher dose of UV-radiation ^^

wise words, bud!

Apologies for the delay of this post because I honestly did not know if these plants were going to make it or not.

The weather this spring/summer has been EXTREME! At the end of May and beginning of June, the plants experienced morning’s temps that averaged in the low 40’s/high 30’s and highs in the 90’s. The first week of June the plants suffered a weekend of freezing temperatures in which I had to double cover the plants with cloches’ and frost blankets, and by the end of the week, the temperatures were over 100. The weather has mellowed out a bit and the mornings are much warmer, in the high 50’s/low 60’s, and the max temps are in the 90’s.

I have 12 plants that are growing and budding, and they all very unique in their own ways. The thing that I have noticed that is having the biggest effect on the plants their location in the yard and the amount of light they get and at which time of the day. It has been really cool watching them follow the sun throughout the day. They move so much in the early stages it as it crosses the sky.

I found out the hard way that my dog likes to eat plants, down to the dirt. She ate the entire Blackberry Kush [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] plant, part of Blueberry [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] and topped off Norther Lights X Big Bud [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] – that however had positive results. She was pretty chill after her gourmet fresh grass.

I had an extra Norther Lights X Big Bud seedling that I gave to my friend. My friend put “#5” in a pot that is moveable and has been pampered. I am going to go over and visit [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG] very soon and take some pictures.

The first planting is getting close to harvest, I would say within the next two weeks or so. I plan to do a detailed write up on each plant with ending weights and pictures.

Damn, i really wanted to see the ongoing of this thread!

Sorry, dude. I see the pictures of all these amazingly huge plants and mine are so small. However, this Blackberry Kush really has surprised me.Thanks for inspiring me to write more.

Same kind of crazy extremes here. Hit the mid 90's in Feb, blizzard in April. Triple digits for a couple weeks so far. Oh yeah man's best friend loves man's favorite herb. Had a pal whose chihuahua would pilfer his ashtray for roaches. Find the dog with paper stuck to their teeth, not a care in the world. :crying:
