interesting read this is making. Ive a question for you all, do the auto pots benefits outweigh the benefits of smart pots/air pots? Ive just upgraded to 15L smart pots from 10L plastic pots. Ill be using them for a while as i have much work to do in order to get my water and soil make up 100%. but once i do would these be a better investment? In terms of yield not quality.

Day 31

Lights just went out, timer has been reset for 12/12, and I think all is right with the garden. Or is it? It might be my imagination, but I swear the girls color have paled out considerably since I turned on the autocobs. The COBs are at 30 inches and I’m only using 3 of them. I did have a side by side photo comparing now and when I turned them on some 36;hours ago and I cannot see the difference. To look at them in the tent they look more lime green almost translucent.

So I looked again just before their first 12 hour sleep and I still think I saw it. I took some of that full strength veg nutes and added a couple liters to the reservoir, bringing it up to 1.55EC which after removing the 0.55 for the tap water gives me 1.0 which is 500 ppm up from 300. So here are the pictures, please let me know what you think.

The Autopots when used with coco are almost "painless and hassle free". It truly no pain for the gain. I grew 4 Autos. Not one was over 14.5" and the dry harvest was over 17 oz. Look at my 2nd grow

I have never tried smart/air pots. But you have to hand water them the whole grow.

Never used air pots, but autopots are the best for people like me, lazy and travel a lot. After the first three weeks of hand watering, you turn on the reservoir and let it go. I don’t know how your yields will be but I am a so-so grower and I can pull almost 1/2 a pound on average from two autoflowers in a 3x3. This is my first time with photo ladies & autopots, so we shall see what happens.

Yes I know. I have some in there in the feed but my tap water is heavy with it so don’t think it will be an issue. To my naked eye this looks like the nitrogen is getting used up fast. Just getting paler quickly. I upped the nutes to 500 ppm so might see a difference by the time I get home tonight.

Day 32

Quick update with just a couple photos. Girls still look good after 12 hours on the increased nutrients, of course it probably has not fully mixed into the trays yet. So I will be watching them very closely for the next day.
