Grow Mediums Barney’s Farm LSD-25 (photo) in 8.5L Autopots w/coco, TF nutrients, and AutoCobs

I cite @912GreenSkell as a adverse conditions grower of serious note here! He's in Canada, where any time, any place shite weather can happen,... wild swings in T, RH%, storms,... I marvel at what he produces, but it's a great case-in-point about tolerance,... Also, large plants definitely have a "mass effect" stability that tent grows can only dream of too,... :vibe: .

Yes so very true man....my girls deal with:
Frost and cold (in spring and fall)
Hail (every other year)
40mph+ wind
70%+rh
Torrential downpours
Hot and dry (some summers, rare)
Stretches of 40c+weather midsummer

But yet....you see what they turn into!! Plants (especially large plants) can take a Ton of stress and still produce very well. A lot of folks think i grow such monsters simply because i live in a perfect growing climate, but in reality its not ideal at all.

Day 53 / 22 / 9

Well the ladies have been recovering for the last few days at normal temps/humidity. I have only opened the tent to change out the reservoirs. While the trays were empty I pulled them out and hosed them off and cleaned out the autovalves. They are still on separate reservoirs but I have changed Kaya & Meggie over to MC as well just to finish this grow out with, hopefully, fewer problems than the ones I already caused playing around with co2 and temp levels.

They seem to be recovering nicely and I think the self cannabalizing has stopped for now. I did move the ladies around in the tent, so they are getting a little different light levels.

Happy Growing everyone! :vibes:&:karmacloud:

Lowered my individual AutoCOBs to 24 inches above each plant. Well some of it was lowering, some was the girls growing into it. The two I switched over to MC seemed to not have any major reaction to it.

I went around the bottom of the stalks and removed any fluff. Also, snipped off any parts of leaves that had totally died and removed any dead stuff hanging or on the top of the coco. Hopefully this will make it easier to see any new issues. I still don’t like what I’m seeing in the leafs, but they are still recovering from my VPD stress and two of them have just been switched to MC. Over the next couple days I think we shall see if we are really recovering.

Just a quick shot of the girls and a couple bud sites. Going to have to hook my phone to a tripod to get clearer pictures.

I sub'd to this thread and I'm not getting any notifications. What the heck is wrong with that? Should be simple IT stuff to make this happen. I totally forgot about this thread so was surprised to find it again and view those pics. Beauty looking girls. The green hue seems to be glowing.

I will have to go back and see what happened with the VPD experiment. I tried to keep things dialed in to the sweet spot for a while and I did. But then let it slip because I had different plants at different stages in my tent. I didn't notice anything negative by letting the RH drop out of the sweet VPD spot. So I'm not sure it's something I want to do. Esp in an unsealed tent.

Unwatch the thread then watch it again. That usually works

I think VPD is vital, But growers learning to use must understand, that VPD is used only up until pre-flower...then after that you know longer are following the chart...

Didn't know that Unique. I had a pretty easy time maintaining a good VPD value during veg of the last grow so I'm pretty sure I can continue to do this actually.

:thanks: for the kind comments. Sorry you had trouble with notifications. I’ve seen it before where you click on the watched threads link up top and there are at least one or two of that I did not receive notifications for. Now I click it once a week just to check.
It’s been pretty dead around here since I stopped playing around with my environment.:nono:

Yea, I learned my VPD lesson the hard way. Girls still have some nasty looking spots. It was strange watching leaves die in no pattern, just random all over. Poor things were basically suffocating/drowning/starving at the leaf level. I won’t be messing around with that one again for a while. It is some nice science to be aware of and work into my routine. My basement environment is usually friendly to growing without me mucking it up.
