I don’t have an answer I just wanted to know what you guys were putting in there. I’ve noticed it as well but I’ve had sweet candy in there with the mega. I think it was @bushmasterar15 and/or @HemiSync that said they use mega and sweet candy in their auto pot res with no air pump or anything and haven’t had any problems. I also notice after a few days it smells a little...... off. Not stinking out the room but if I stick my head inside the res and sniff it doesn’t smell good

I put a paint stirrer in my drill and give it a good mix in the res when I see that. I use an old plastic, coconut oil jar as a shaker. I 3/4 fill it will hot tap water and shake it real good. Then stir it into the bucket of water and mix it good. If your making a 5 gallon batch, get a painter stirrer they are a good tool for this. Harbor Freight has them for like $7.99. Using the shaker and the mixer, I have very little problem with this in the res. however I confess, I don't bother to look lol. I dump in 10 gallons then check in 5 days. First few batches I checked PH every couple of days. I usually see a maybe .5 rise, not enough to matter and it has been consistent. This last grow, I didn't even flush the lines once, just to see. I had no plug ups.

I don't have clogging problems,just that crazy looking film in the water

No air or water pump. I stir it once a day when checking pH and my rez and lines have not been cleaned since the 1st of July. I don’t recommend it but was curious how far I could push it. No bad smells and while there is a small cloud of residue in the bottom of the rez when I stir it up, it doesn’t seem to be having any negative effect.

Anyone else having issues with megacrop in the res getting all gross looking ?
Like moldy water. Fish flake like sludgy stuff that gets kicked up when I stir my res and check pH.

I have the same, think it's from the kelp extract that is in MC. I just stir up ever couple days but have never emptied the res because of it.

Hey Guy's I turned res on for 1 of 4, I think I see some discoloration on maybe two of the plants but i really can't be sure due to lighting... Hopefully I get this light problem worked out soon, No wonder my babies are not so happy...I guess I wouldn't be either if I was forced to stay under that light...I dialed back on dose I was going to give because i did end up having turn on a couple days sooner then I would of liked.. I didn't fill the res, since I want to make sure this dose will be okay..Sorry no pics, it would be too hard to see under this lighting anyways.. I will get some as soon as possible.
