I can do like 7 grams max if i shove it in there. Nug smasher mini doesn't offer much play room. Other thing is I've heard you and @Lil Dab say you do a 30 second pre heat then it's full pressure for the rest of the time (4 mins). Is that not still the method? Should I be adding pressure slowly? I've gotten decent yields using that method but for some reason this walter didn't really put out.
I’ve started applying pressure in stages…. Put the loaded bag in, compress about halfway and pause for 20 seconds or so, then compress about halfway again, and start watching the bag…. You’ll slowly start to see the bag material darken with rosin…. From that point forward I add pressure, wait, add, wait….all while watching the flow of rosin. As you press, you can see the gauge pressure dropping as the rosin flows out, and you’ll see the rosin accumulating. Once the pressure has stopped dropping I increase pressure again, going higher each time. I usually exceed the recommended pressure, but only for like the last ten seconds, then release.
Also, you want a nice full bag, whatever size that happens to be….
Don't know about your environment but we're on the northwest coast it can get very humid.
