Live Stoners where did YOUR user name come from?

Many times on AFN you can read someone's user name and it's very self explanitory, but others you read and say wtf does that mean, or maybe others have a different meaning to the user than you think...

Here is where Atrain comes from:
Anyone here who is prior army should understand. But in army physical training the morning runs are often times split into run groups A,B,C,D fastest being A slowest being D. I was always able to out run 99 percents of the folks in my units. I was placed in an E.O.D unit as company medic and had a SFC in charge of my platoon. In the mornings he would have me run the A group and I would run them til there tongues hung out but it was great excercise. For fun during runs I would literally run A group in circles around the other groups down the road during p.t so when that crazy fucker heard us coming he would start to yell.. "move over soldiers the motha fuckin A train is coming through".. a few months later he changed my name from doc to atrain and from there on out it stuck. My gear was sudsequently labeled with atrain so then after transfers it stayed with me... anyway that's my story .

I sometimes wonder bout folks when reading user names.... where did YOUR username originate?

Hello @Muddy. Seeing that you will probably read this I would like to thank you for all of your contributions to
the AFN family and particularly myself. You have been a huge influence and a great teacher for me. I tell folks
to read whatever you write as they probably will glean some information from it. With folks like you around I
don't need to be a master grower. I need you and some other great masters here on AFN. Two auto's I have
been very successful with are Sugar Mango Ryder and Mohan Ram which were both recommended by you.
Again thank you for all of your knowledge that you share.

Captain Cold is a DC Comics villain. A pretty shitty one at that. Useless as a crook, always in jail, and has nothing else but a ray gun he stole. The storylines were shit, etc etc.

I was a Quake 2 player in the 90's, and wanted a name that wasn't common on servers. I read the 60's flash comics as a young'un. Stuck with me.

As it is, the character has been rebooted in the early 2000's. One story called 'Absolute Zero' saw a DC writer try to do something with the character and update it. In it, Cold's history was revised. He was abused and beaten by his disgraced cop father as a child. His grandfather finds out, beats his father to death in front of him as an 12yo. Sister was being whored out, she eventually got killed by the mob when she followed him into crime years later. He loses his shit and goes full on psycho rampage for the next few YEARS.

What he makes from crime goes to blow and hookers. And he's a total sociopath with a serious hard on to kill as many cops as he can. Seriously edgy stuff.

So much for the 'this is a great nick that no one will recognize, and it's fluffy bunny laughs.'
