New Grower Under $100 CFL Grow

I have a question about curing, i have the bovedo 62 % packs.
Are they alright to use for a 2 week cure ? Like can i dry my buds and then put the bud in glass jars with the boveda packs ? Or are they more for a long term cures?
I don’t use the packs so I can’t really answer that question. Sorry. All I know is that I dry my bud and get them as close to 60% rh as I can but I used a different drying method to yourself.
@archie gemmill, do you know?

nice harvest :smokeit: chunky buds :smoking:
for me boveda is more for long term.the first 2 weeks i consider the burping period,id pop a boveda in a jar after a month.
looking good
:pighug:

Sweet thabks for all the help guys.

Nice job man. I probably have a little over 100$ into my grow. Using mostly cfl, have three cheap led strips from Menards. But they didn't seem to be doing much. Have four 2700k cfl w/27w draw and one 3500k w/ 45w draw. The strips are like 8w all different spectrum. Oh also have one led bulb hanging above the strips. It's a 3000k but is supposed to put out 150w don't remember the draw. Hope mine turn out close to yours. First auto, first indoor grow and first grow in about 12 years. WWA [HASHTAG]#cropkingsseeds[/HASHTAG], was too late for LST it's starting to flower and need to defoliate this bush. Any ideas? I'm about try to start a thread today. It's like 24 days since it popped. Didn't have enough light. Thought it would be taller by now, thick though. Almost a foot tall. Just got a water pH meter. My water pH was a lot higher then I thought. But the soil is right on. What do you think? About to put some more work into it today. Fleet farm run get the lights off the floor. Really want a HPS

I would just add as many of the 2700k cfl bulbs as you can man, have them like 2 inch from the plant. I topped my plant and defoliated like 20 plus leaves maybe twice a week from day 20ish onwards haha, i was a bit ruthless with that grow, turned out well in the end but i wouldnt reccomend doing what I did. Maybe you could just tie the main stem down with a bit of lst to promote more growth from the lower area of the plant. You should go read the back to school thread in the new growers stickied section. Alot of good info there.

Mate that's a better gpw than many folk get with blurps or hps.:cool1::slap: En route mate.
We made it in the end ! Haha.

Thanks man this form is great. Sounds a little over board, 20 plus.. I five off two days ago then another five yesterday. The plant responded really well. I'm going to tie down the little one tomorrow. I needed them at the same time. Just had a lot of problems with it. The shell wouldn't come off. Then i transplanted it. While transplanting the soil fell apart and the roots come with it. I was sure the tap root was broke. I thought the plant was going to die. I took the lights off of that one and a came back to life. Can't wait to try my big girl. Just know I have to be patient. I'm used to out door photos. It's been fun so far. Wasn't expecting them to stink as much as they do this early. I'm out, keep smoking..

Oops missed the word cut.. lol I'm happy I started defoliating. I care a lot more with this plant. Paid like 60$ for 7 seeds. I used to have hundreds of seed and plant 60 or so plants in two or three spots.
