Day 2 of Flower

IMG_0212.jpeg

The SLH was looking a little lime so I bumped up the feed on that one to 1000ppm. SD getting 750ppm. Also starting deploying a far-red initiator puck for 15 mins after lights out.

Day 6 of Flower

The one on the right is always hungry lol. She appears to be insatiable. I’ve been bumping up my feeds each go and will again tomorrow heh.

Smells are great. On your day 10 prune, do you remove small budsites? Or do you wait for day 20 for that? I’m planning on being a bit more aggressive with my pruning this time around, as I feel like I left way too much larf on my last grow. It was so thick there was quite a bit of growth with little light exposure. Trying to avoid that this time around.

PS, next grow Im going back to autoflowers but will definitely be trying 4.

Day is low branches that don't meet the canopy. Day 20 is secondary branches and fan leaves below the net.

Your can be a bit aggressive but they aren't the same plants. I'd definitely aim for 4-8 if I was doing autos.

Did some pruning of the undercarriage:

Also boosting my feeding frequency. I started off going feed-water-water repeat. This turned into feed-water repeat. I'm now going feed-feed-water repeat. Currently feeding/watering every 2.5 days or so. SLH getting 1100ppm, SD getting 750ppm. pH around 6.3-6.4.

VPD 1.0-1.2, or roughly 25C @ 58-62% RH.

Also happy to report I woke up to find pistils all over both plants today, so that's nice :D

Thanks for reading,

tron

Very nice! I thought your initial prune was conservative and perfect - how did you feel about it? Plants look vibrant and amazing.

Thanks pal! The pruning was fine -- I was a bit lazier with it this time around and tried not to over think it. I pretty well just plucked away what I thought wouldn't produce. It's a pain in the back though because the tent is tucked into a corner in a room in a semi corridor, so I only have access from one corner so I need to lean in to get at the opposite corner. Oh well!

I'm looking forward to the day ~20 prune. Last grow I didn't remove much of the thinner/spindler growth, i.e., the stuff you mentioned being less than the thickness of a pencil. Can you confirm/elaborate on this? Do you mean pencil lead or actual pencil? Anyhow, I just want to ensure all my budsites are getting adequate light and airflow. Last time it got a little too tight for my liking...

Thanks again,

tron
