Indoor tronGrows

Day 25

Hey look, a screen...

Scrog and self-draining system back in action... also topped the SLH a second time. I'm leaving the SD with just the one round of topping. Node spacing is pretty tight. First time topping two plants differently, so we'll see how this goes lol.

Plants are ~4.5 weeks from sprout.

The SLH (right) is growing substantially bigger and faster than the SD (left).

The SLH was topped twice; the SD only once. Is it ever “too late” to top in veg? I’m debating doing another round on the SD. I’d give it at least a week after the last topping before flipping to flower. I’m thinking another 2 weeks or so anyhow? So if I do top the SD again, it will happen in the next couple of days.

The last 3 waterings of the SD have been plain pH’ed water as she was still showing some signs of over feeding from the last time it was fertilized (you can see a nitrogen claw on the left plant, below. This is improving with the plain waterings. I might do one more before feeding anymore, I’ll play it by ear…).

I did feed the SLH at 900ppm on her last watering as she was looking hungry.

I top at the latest a week before going to flower. They look like they could use another two weeks.

I did end up topping the Diesel (left) a second time last week. I’m thinking another 7-10 days before I flip to flower. If I wait too much longer the Haze (right) will take over! Lol

Although the haze is growing a lot stretchier, the diesel seems to be focusing on thicc stems…

@Death The Cultivator what are your PPPD targets in late veg at 18/6? At 24/0?

250-300.

Looking at your pic above, might be a good time to prune any branches that aren't meeting the canopy. You could do it lightly, then a second time at day 10, and a final prune at day 21. Everything looks great though, good job.

Wow, I’m pushing 500-550 here now. Keep in mind that’s without a par meter still - I’m still taking measurements with a Lux meter then using HLG’s calculator. But I often think lower PPFD’s would have helped stretch the sour diesel and filled up the net a little quicker…

I found I liked vegetative growth on a 24/0 with 250-300. You can always go higher but I didn't feel it affected growth in a positive way.
