I like 60/60 but that isn't bad, I'd possibly leave fan leaves to slow drying but it isn't bad

Hi everybody,
Well as you've probably figured out, I have chopped down these plants and hung them up to dry.
Some comments:
The White Widow is damn perfection. Buds are beautiful and ripe all the way down. Super impressed with strain from Canuk. I should point out, the seed was a freebie with a previous order. The Gorilla Glue #4 has a decent amount of underdeveloped growth at the scrog level. Since this one grew a little shorter and tighter in general, there was definitely some spots down below that didn't get much light - on the other hand, the WW stretched and opened up a bit more and had some better light penetration. I wish I had of been a bit more diligent with my pruning as I could've gotten rid of alot of those lower GG#4 budsites during the first few weeks of flower. But oh well - this is a lesson for next time. Regardless, the upper bud sections on the GG #4 are absolutely gorgeous and there's still a substantial quantity there, and the larfier stuff will be great for the hash pile!
All in all, very pleased with the process. I have some bamboo canes spanned across my tent with coat hangers to hang the buds. I had to remove my lights to get them all to fit -- happy to say this is the first time I've grown enough to have to do this lol.

Dry weight guesses? I'm guessing ~17oz + trim based on previous harvests :smoking:
As for my drying process, I'm thinking ~10 days or so. Right now, I'm at ~21C and 62% RH. Humidity I seem to be able to control, but it's quite warm around here and I'm struggling to get those temps a few degrees lower. But we'll see.

They've been drying for 10 days now and I'd say they're ready. Buds are snapping off stems...
This is the first time it has taken 10 days to get to this point. Previous drying sessions using my AC Infinity finished closer to ~4 days. As I've mentioned before, I'm now using an InkBird humidity controller, which kept me at around ~60% RH. While the InkBird has been saying ~60%, the AC Infinity controller still in my tent has been pretty consistently reading ~70-74%. It's crazy the discrepancy, but the InkBird definitely seems to be more accurate. If I had been going by AC Infinity readings shooting for 60%, I'd probably be drying closer to 48%!
Anyways, I will be back this evening with a dry-weight report. Stay tuned....

I was really hoping for a pound of bud, but I'll take it. These sativa dominant strains were definitely less dense than the Indica varieties I've grown in the past (duh), so while they were certainly more voluminous, the weight was a little less than I figured.
Oh well! This is still my biggest harvest to date, so to say I'm pleased is an understatement :smoking:
Anyway, it has been a longgg day lol. I'll post a more detailed harvest report with some pics tomorrow.

Rejoice my man! 50g per sqft is a feat! My highest haul was 62g per sqft, I think it was a stellar grow that only genetics could have influenced more. A lot of the "high yielding" strains come in at 500g per square meter which comes out to 50g per sqft.
A strong performance from both cultivars by a strong grower, congrats!

Harvest Report
Alright folks, here's the lowdown. I separated both plants into two grades of bud:
-130g of Grade A
-58g of Grade B
-total GG#4 bud: 188g = 6.6oz
White Widow
-113g of Grade A
-111g of Grade B
-total WW bud: 224g = 8.0oz
In addition, I also pulled 6.3oz of trim/larf to add to the future hash pile, and 0.8g of kief from the TrimBin.
Summary
-total dry bud weight = 14.6oz
-total trim/larf = 6.3oz
-total kief = 0.8g
