Photoperiod Gorilla Glue #4 & White Widow

Well folks, it looks like today might be harvest-eve...

Just to recap, these plants were flipped to 12/12 around 66 days ago (9.4 weeks), and pistils emerged around 56 days ago (8 weeks).

According to Canuk, the White Widow has a 54 day flowering time and the GG#4 has a 60 day flowering time. I'm going to go ahead and say these plants have been flowering proper for 56 days which puts Canuk's timelines pretty spot on. I'd say the WW is perfectly ripe and the GG could use another couple of days. I think I'll split the difference and harvest both at day 57 from pistils, which would be end of day tomorrow. I'm seeing amber trichromes on both but I don't want the WW to go too much longer, and I can live with harvesting the GG a couple of days early.

Next time around I'm going to plant seeds that have identical flowering times so I don't have to make this compromise.

PS... Super Lemon Haze and Sour Diesel are next

Have the leaves begun to fade? I typically get more mature trichomes at the top so I check in 3 sections but usually the fade puts them right around harvest ready.

Breeder times are so iffy, not saying his are wrong but every pheno can't be accounted for. If they are beginning to yellow or you've seen a significant decrease in water consumption - I tend to call it good at that point.

Yellowing has begun in a few areas:

I think you're on the mark with your assessment. This has been a beautifully executed grow. How do you feel about it nearing the end?

Thanks for the kind words and continued support:bow:

Excited to harvest, and excited to see how much I have here. I’m thinking a pound for sure.

But also excited to clean out the tent and start again. I’m going to start two more photos in Pro-Mix HP pretty well as soon as these plants are done drying. Then I think I’m going to revert back to my Autoflower roots for the subsequent grow. :D

Me and the wife are pretty heavy smokers, so we go through a lot of weed. The ultimate goal is to grow enough to be totally self sustainable. I think with this harvest I might actually have enough to last until my next harvest. Fingers crossed lol.

Well life got in the way and these plants still aren't harvested.

Today is day 58 of flower. We'll try again tomorrow. I'm sure they won't turn to poison... :crying:
