Fine looking plant you got there, Bud. Thanks for sharing a pic :slap:.

She's certainly at the really exciting stage, those buds will be piling on the weight soon . Keep me updated.:smoking:

Thank you, I feel like she is doing OK considering this is my first indoor grow and first auto grow. I just wish I could find a couple of grow journals to compare it to.

There's not too many out there, which is a shame. I've had a search to see what's in the ether, and there's some pics on this thread from Tripaholic88 that look delicious. You should check out the close up of the trichs. :yoinks: You might need to scroll down a bit to find it.

Here's a journal from The Elvis too, which is a quality grow. :worship:

You may have seen these already, but I thought I'd post 'em up for reference.

Wow! Thank you very much. Definitely looks like it's going to be some great smoke. I can't wait to see yours when it's finished.

No worries. She's a beauty alright. And thanks . They're on day 28 today and are definitely in the stretching phase. Should be hitting pre-flower any day now . I'll have an update up on Friday I think.

This was mine around day 28 for reference. A lot can happen in 10 days with these auto plants. You can see the mag deficiency and of course I couldn't get cal-mag right away so I gave her some Epsom Salt and a few days later the calcium deficiency was the new problem lol. I now have cal-mag and all is well.

The soil comparison head to head is a cool idea I know a buddy of mine did a AN nutes vs Green Planet. The only thing is how do you really know it is the soil and just not the plant itself that may be more vigorous or even with the nut comparison. I would imagine you would have to grow the the same strains multiple times to get a decent bit of info and results. Interesting comparison but yeah very nice job it seems they like both soil mediums.

I'm glad to hear you got it sorted, I've seen waaaaay worse than what I can see in your pic so you did good to catch it early :d5:. Thanks for sharing, Dude.

Cheers, @Ripped In Oregon :toke:. I will certainly agree that it lacks rigour . It's just for fun mainly and I don't expect to get any truly meaningful results. I think a tentative comparison can be made - especially with the quality of the buds harvested - but I wouldn't have the balls to call it conclusive lol. You're right I'd need a much larger sample size to account for all the potential differences between individuals.

There are other things I can take away from this though.

1. Using a hot soil with chemical nutes is a pain in the backside.

2. The internet has a surprising amount of star, dog and pyramid gifs! lol
