Grow Mediums The Coco Home Thread -- Calling ALL Coco Growers!!!

I got over 2 ounces off a JEM in a 2g hydrofarm dirt pot in coco w/Lucas Formula...any bigger pot and it might have overgrown my 3x3x6 tent width-wise.

So Truu... should I keep using 1 gallon pots then?

I'll grow the 1st grow in 1 gallons to compare to my previous 1 gallons... then go from there. If you say smaller pots get bigger results then I should get monsters in 1 gallons.

I would suggest starting out with 1 gal. Like you said you're already growing monsters in soil with such small pots, just think about the growth with coco lol. I just grew a 2' wide plant in a 2 gallon pot lol.

Another thing is that using smaller pots will make for more frequent waterings wich is a bonus.

What space are you useing rebel to grow in and what hight mate have you got to play with , if you use the same pot as you usualy use then yes they will be bigger mate :smokebuds::peace:

Sweet Truu thanks Bud!

Dex I have two tents for next run. A 4x2 x7 and a 5x5x7 i have plenty of space. Just trying to figure what size in coco will give me the biggest yields. One tent will be Autos and the big tent will be my own cross Buckeye Smash. And the Bucks get big... Truu knows!

Go and have a look at the size of mine at 35 days just posted a few snaps and just flipped to bloom but ive missed a few things out nute wise as you can get them bigger at this stage mate , ive had them hit the roof of the tent but dont do that any more , lol

i dont know what kind of yeilds your looking for but im looking for about 20oz plus min and thats with less than a square metre of floor space , Mon the CoCo

My goal is at least 2 oz per plant in the Autos... i know my Bucks are capable of 4 oz per plant at least.. as they are NOT worked fully auto yet. But the F2s are fixin to be monsters like the F1s... I'll check your thread mate...

Truu I can't pm you back atm... I'll holler at you in a few when I get on an actual computer lol I'll be starting that thread tonight most likely...

Hi Coco Crowd ^_^

I'm all caught up with this thread now and along for ride!
I'm a fan of Canna Coco mixed with a heap of perlite and use Canna coco A&B nutes, with a tiny bit of rhizotonic and a little PK13/14 for a few days in full flower.

I mix my feeds in 5 litre batches, I start with seedlings with 5ml (per 5 litres) of A&B and a tiny bit of Rhizotonic, and hopefully by the time they're in full flower mode I'll have worked my may up to 20ml A&B (per 5 litre)

5.7 - 5.8 PH to start off, and by the time I'm at full flower i've worked up to 5.9, by the end of the grow i'll be at 6.1 - so i just swing it up through out the grow.

I water by hand - i find it relaxing and is part of my daily inspection routine, check leaf health, lift my pots, mix my batch if needed a pluck the almost dead light deprived leaves from the bottom, test the heat at the top, and come back 2moro and check!

Thats the way I like it, keeping it simple! ^_^

Good info in here, will keep my eye on the thread!!

Great stuff Blue another coco head and a big welcome to the forum my friend :smokebuds::peace:

Hello. Six Betty Boo seeds in 4dl cups germinating in coco now. I treat them same as last time, Canna AB only, but this time on balcony facing south. It has glass so its more like a greenhouse.
