Gnome Automatics The 300$ hoop house

Man I am hella jealous. I dream of having the slab of yard to do this in the future.

Looks great man.

Btw I'm even more jealous of that pepper plant. A fucking bird decided to top mine (yellow bell pepper) that was loaded with little peppers. Hope it survives the heat in it's current state lol

Makes me want an outdoor run...:wall:

I’ve waited 12 years for this. Always wanted them under the sun but I was never in a place where I felt safe. No I’m protected against all the drama. It’s a huge relief to have them outside and not have to worry anymore.

Thank you my friend and like I mentioned above took some time to get here but we’re finally there. Thanks for the kind words too, and I’m sure the peppers will do fine. Typically they like the heat but that’s common for capcacin style peppers. Those in the pic are my own personal cross. Tabasco x Chinese chili x scotch bonnet

Man that's so sick! Looks so dope bro

Cheers brother

Thank you my friend I really appreciate it! It’s getting rather green in there for sure. The ladybugs have moved on. Still a few here and there but plenty of eggs and larvae from them so they will be around for a while.

These guys also showed up this week. Really happy about this one.

So they hatched and on my sons birthday! Was a neat thing to watch.

Temp gets up to high to mid 90’s but the rH does swing a bit. Not too high but can get low. The sawdust helps control it either way. Wet it if it’s low and let it dry if it’s high. Has helped a ton so far.

Now on to the ladies.

Big update but a lot has changed over the few days.

That hoop house with what you got growing, is my dream scenario in life. My wife would be so pissed off at me because I would spend every waking free moment in there piddling around. Just gorgeous. Can't wait to see how she produces.

I hear ya my friend. I’ve been waiting on this for over 10 years now. Having the roots in the dirt is what I always wanted and it’s taken time but it’s here. I get the occasional “how long are you gonna be out there” from the missus and I always tell her until I’m done. Not the best answer but she gets it. I’m in there a good bit so she’s also understands.

I can’t wait either just hope I did it right and we’ll see where it goes.

Pro tip and I’ll be touching on this a few times in here. The good bugs and the bad ones. So far only good ones as I’ve been releasing an Arsenal of them and then came across a good one I haven’t seen before that showed up.

This is a twenty spotted beetle and they munch on fungus in the area. Another guy looking out for the vibe in the greenhouse.
