New Grower SPZ's Sour Livers Triple Automatic Grow

Subbed up bro, this is going to be a great grow. I use AN Sensi line aswell. Happy to say I never check PH. How's your water source looking? (May have missed it.). Best of luck!

A quick update, all four seedlings have cracked the surface as of this morning. Here's a shot of all four pots. The seedlings are visible if you zoom in

Here is the first one that popped with a view of the thermometer/hygrometer, the environment is perfect for seedlings, but I'll have to dial back the humidity later

Welcome grow bro! Hope your move is going smoothly!
Went well thank you. We get the home on the 12 and then start to buy things to go in it.

Thanks for the good vibes.

Hey welcome seabass! :pass:

I posted the lab report on my setup thread a while back. The pertinent points being that I'm using well water and the pH is 6.5 and the EC is 0.09 mS/cm. My understanding was that 6.5 is about the top of the hydro range. I'm concerned that adding the Cal/Mag and silicate will bring the pH up even more, but maybe I'm overthinking it...

Thanks for the love, Nosias! I'm super stoked about the basement setup, I'm doing some more work on it this weekend so stay tuned!

Always, bro! Moving is so hard, I feel for you, but it is also an exciting time of new beginnings! Here is a song to keep your spirits lifted! :baby:

Hey I use similar nutes to yours mixing AN and other brands and the pH wasn't perfect it was close to seven for me. Do you have a pH meter? I think the silica especially really brings the pH up.

Yeah that's my concern! I have a test kit and some pH down. I'm saving up for a good bluelab meter based on @BigSm0's advice. My plan for now is to add the CalMag and Sillicate around half strength, pH the water to around 6, then add the AN Nutes, probably at 1/4 strength (except for the Voodoo Juice which I'll do at full strength cause it is just beneficial bacteria). I'm planning on watering 0.75 liters per pot.

I guess I was supposed to "pre-charge" the medium with the CalMag before I started, whoops! It's all a learning experience at this point! I'm basing most of what I'm doing on @Hansbricks excellent grows!

Yah I see you don't have pH perfect coco nutes so it might buffer it to the wrong pH. And yeah there's lots to learn about coco I'm planning on using it on my next grow best of luck

I'm emulating Hansbricks grows using autopots with coco and advanced nutrients. He had some bad experiences using the coco formulation in autopots so that's why I stuck with the regular formulation. I've gone back and reviewed his latest grow, which I'm using as a model grow, more on that later!

I checked in on the ladies tonight just to keep on eye on them. The pots are finally starting to feel light and the coco is feeling a bit drier as well so I will be giving them their first feeding and watering tomorrow morning. I forgot to snap pictures of her but the subject of the shellectomy is doing well, she is definitely a day or two behind her sisters but she has spread her leaves and seems to be growing fine.

What was more troubling was that my over-achiever, the first girl above ground, is now leaning over a bit and lagging a bit behind her two healthier sisters. It's could be light burn, deficiency, or just plain natural variation, but I'm not taking chances... I've raised the lights to 30", which seems to be the consensus for seedlings based on my reading, and I'm feeding and watering her tomorrow.
