New Grower SCHOOL DAZE (seed to jar)live guide

Welcome to school daze.
This is the new growers school.

Here I'm going to be doing a live week to week simple guide to growing autos in soil.

Will be a basic easy to follow guide.
No big fancy words no crazy wild stuff.
Just a basic guide from start to smoke. Seed to jar.
We shall cover basic lighting
Basic nutrients
Show a lot of how to and when to with light hight , room conditions , low stress training , watering and all the rest of all the stuff I have picked up here from AFN in my short time of growing.

Feel free to ask all the questions pertaining to the week/subject you would like.
If I don't know the answer [HASHTAG]#iknowaguy[/HASHTAG] or gal

Well class is in session!

@hesgone13 I think you would get great help here in this thread to get u a nice jar of meds.
You are right! Already been through most of this and will continue to use this and @912GreenSkell 's tutorials to help launch things and stay on track.

This is what I got. Quote from in house guru waira
-- All leaves are energy and storage "facilities", even bud is active with this,.. Basically, if it has pigments, it's working the electrons and feeding the machine

So my take on that is it's all one machine not individual solar panels per branch. Even the buds them selves soak up sun.
Making defoliating a little bit more understandable

Hope that helps bro

Hello again
Late class this week with father's day n such

I'd like to start with a short supply list you may want to invest into

Unless you have a bad ass camera with macro lense. Checking trichs can be a pain.
Microscopes are hard to use for me and magnifying glass just is not quite enough

I found this little clip on macro lense for phones. And as long as your phone has a decent camera this thing rocks!

I paid like 10 bucks for it at the local gas station. Amazon has them. Very cheap but very effective and super easy to use.
All of the macro pictures you will see moving forward will be taken with this and a phone. Nothing fancy, but produces results

Another thing you will want to make sure you have.
Curing jars!

Last thing you want is to harvest and not have storage. Good ol ball Mason jars will do just fine. And a pro tip. A little duct tape on the lid for labels.

Another thing you want to make sure of is that you have a proper place to hang and dry your buds.

If you have a big closet or an extra back room area that you can keep well circlated, dark, and climate controlled then great!
Just hang up some trellis and hang your buds there.
If not. No worries. I have made drying boxes very easily and will make a small one at harvest for those who need smaller drying areas.
But that's still some weeks out for our girl.
So in due time. Just wanted to throw up a short supply list that may be needed or useful over the next few weeks

Now back to the plant.
I let her go an extra day with out water just to have a good example of seeing the plant ask for water

This was taken a few hours ago when I watered

Note how all of the larger fans have taken a droop to them. This actually happened overnight. I gave the pot a lift yesterday and I knew it was watering time but I let her go an extra day just to really show how the plant will talk to you.
As long as it's not it this state for a long time it's perfectly fine. Some even say this is nearly the perfect time to water. I prefer to water just before this point and keep a constant praying from my gals.
An easy way to know you are not over watering

A few hours later she is nearly back to full praying.

So the water recovery is very fast.

And now up to a full feed for flowering. Now it's all just keeping her happy while she produces you glorious trichomes.

Cheers afn.
Happy father's day and see you gals and guys soon!

Sorry for the long delay between updates

In this stage there is really not much left do do except keep the watering schedule right.

Also. Now is a good time to bring the Rh down to 45% ish.
Don't want it too high. Protect the buds we are growing from rot mold and powdery mildew. All not great things to have

In this part of flowering the plant like to drink a bit more. So pay attention to her needs and it should all be smooth sailing until chop time.
Here are a few shots of her over the last week
