I've had a 345 watt light in that tent......... it was a little too much lol! You'll be fine and you can always dim it if need be

Hey guys
I want to have the driver away from my light.
I have 6x qb288 and 1x HLG600-54b with a dimmer
It is currently cabled as follows, sorry if it doesn’t show it well
I wanted the driver to be approx 1.5 to 2m away from the light. The light connection is very short on the led and very short on the driver which means the driver would have to go on the led, which is what I don’t want.
The dimmer has approx 1.5m cable but as the driver cable is so short then it defeats the purpose of the dimmer having such a large length.
Also, any idea what this cable is I have circled?
Question, do you lose power if you run the driver to far from the light, can I sort this out where I don’t have the driver sat in the light, how far can you go?

Think I can answer 2 of your questions...
the driver distance away from the light is only a problem if its quite long way away away. So I wouldn't worry about
Just extend the lead with some lead using wago clips at each end
Sorry I have no idea what that lead is, my drivers don't have one... have you google the meanwell specs for it?

New light setup, but going to adjust the hanging position to all four corners with some rope ratchet, so I can get light higher. Also remote the driver with some cable and Wago.
I think the position is not to far off it needs be.
Generates some heat too on full whack which is approx 604w. Heatsink were approx 55c after approx an hour

The driver is 11.4amp so was looking for a cable that could handle more than this, but finding it difficult to source.
I am trying to source some suitable cable so I can run the driver remotely. Obviously don’t want to get a cable that can’t handle it.

That is a monster of a Quatum board you are totally happy with the dimmer as far as I read. I will be watching you grow with this bad boy of a light

One thing to note if getting this light from R2T
I would suggest you ask for the eyelets on each corner, as mine as hung by each corner of the center heatsink which I didn’t like.
They kindly sent me these after the purchase and was easy enough to fit.
Few more pics of me altering the room while I am waiting for my cable to come so I can extend driver.
I did ask for this to be done but it must have got lost in translation
All in all though, R2T are good to deal with and are quick to respond before and after purchase.
