How about a bigger humidifier? I’ve had this one for 3 years and use it for the lung room (15x17)

I think you maybe right. This one seems to put out lots but I went with autopots for some freedom but the reservoir size of this one I have will have to be filled daily. Unfortunate because I just bought it.

66% is fine for a grow in my opinion, i use humidity domes until they sprout and after that my average rh is 65-70 until I need it drier. I also will run my humidifier right next to the plants with no circulating air for the first week. I’ll set the tent rh real high like 80% and the fan set to just 1 on power speed. This will help me stay in the 70s til not needed.

But I think you should run whatever lighting you want, keep the humidifier on 24/7, and don’t worry about what the probe says. When your pot filled with wet substrate hits the scene it’ll provide what you need. This might be disputed but I’m only speaking from experience, I can’t give you science.

What size res? I’m using a 5gal bucket because I’m using just one autopot.

Edit…you’re talking about the humidifier res huh? Just hit me lol yeah I have to fill mine twice a day when in use

Your filling that Vornado with 4gal res twice a day?

Oh no I mean my small one, vornado every few days to once a week depending on the setting

Yes I think I'm just gonna germinate and giver anyway. Will have time to get larger humidifier if needed

I only use a humidifier for first week and then maybe a couple times in veg when extremely dry in the garage
