A head scratcher

That's sure what it seems🤷‍♂️. I guess that's why I'm asking, sure doesn't seem right.
But yet my room temp stays same. This happens pretty quik like within 10 min once lights are turned up. I should say I'm just using 5 as a reference can't see dial that well they are on the sides. But could be closer to 70%

Yeah for sure doesn’t seem right just trying to make sure I’m not missing something. You say 5x5 room is this a tent that’s closed off from everything or just part of a bigger room? What rh outside the room/tent?

I’m always able to raise rh mostly with just shutting exhaust fan down and it letting it build up

Are you in a very dry climate like a desert or something?

So this is a metal clad 2 " thick insulated wall building. It is inside my shop. RH is about 30% in shop now. The grow building is very well sealed. Just the exhaust fan that's ducted into shop that is off like previously mentioned

Well interesting got me I would think the humidifier should keep up. It is running a max? I don’t know anything about that machine not sure if there is different settings.

lt should be easier to keep it up once the room is filled and going that will make a difference. Till then might just have to run light(s) low power and down on the plants.

Probably don’t need that much light for that area at least while their young. I only run 720 watts in my 5x5 that seems to be plenty. I did just fine with 600 watts for the longest time

Yes I thought about just keeping lights lower but still doesn't solve the issue that I think shouldn't be happening. Wanna figure out what's going on.

So this is just a separate 5X5 room you have built in your shop?
You have your circulation fans going and the humidifier going at the same time?
Where exactly in the room have you placed the humidifier sensor?
Where and what do you have for a ventilation intake ?
By your screen name I will assume that you are in Alberta Canada, so is it cool enough there during the summer that you don't have to have cooling in your grow room? Did I read right that you have two 600 watt lights in that space? That's a lot of heat!

You only want the exhaust kicking on when heat and rh gets too high don’t have it set to come on when over limit
Yeah, in this particular setup, since it doesn't look like he has a lung room.
I guess that's why I have to have a lung room because I love exchange of air!

Yes to seperate room in shop
Yes to fan and Humidifier
Have moved sensors all over room to try different spots
Do not have a intake right now as it will make humidity worse.Need to solve this before I bring lower humidity air in.
Shouldn't need cooling as shop stays cool
Yes 2 600 watt lights but when they are both turned up higher the humidity drops quik and room doesn't heat up. Heater quits and lights don't bring room over 80 in the amount of time that I've messed with them at near full power. Wanna get this humidity issue fixed first.

With the circulation fans moving at the same time the humidifier is running, It blew one theory.

With the circulation fans not running, the environment in there would stratify when the humidifier was running. Since the humidifier air would be cooler and denser, it would fall to the bottom of the room and eventually build up to where the sensor would shut it off.

So how are you getting your environmental figures, your humidity and your temperature?

Inkbird for temp
Inkbird and T3 humidifier screen for humidity

With 1 light fully on I can only get too 66.6RH
I just turned other light half on and will give it half hr and go check. The humidifier seems to be putting out good steam.

Down to 60.3 now

I turned both lights off so just the heater set at 75 and Humidifier and fan running now
Will give another half hr
